It's not just the macro economic factors at play here there were some big big mistakes made at ASOS, does anyone really believe that Beighton left before he couldn't commit to 5 more years? It's nonsense, behind the scenes there has been money wasted handed over foot, mainly in tech, it needed change from the top down, this company was meant to be turning over 7BN by now and it has stalled significantly in the last couple of years, don't let the macros fool you!
Yes they have the balance sheets to ride this out but they cant afford to bleed cash like they have the last few years, IMO this will go lower I can't see many positives coming out of the EOY trading statement the fact they are slashing prices and running flash sales tells you they are struggling to hit revised guidance
It's going to be a rough couple of years for ASOS but there is a long term value to be had for anyone that can get in at sub 500p IMO
