Economy continues to shrink 0.03% and will continue through the rest of the year there will be minimal recovery this year. Also think back to previous RNS and updates ASOS are notorious for over egging the pudding, I just can't see this sharp turn around to profit in the current climate.

The days of this 7 or 8 bagging are over, fast fashion is on the decline and I don't think you are going to see the dizzy heights of 50-60 a share here again, ultimately longer term ASOS will likely be merged and swallowed by something else, Amazon. Ashley or another. 5 years ago they were talking about 10-20bn turnover and I can't see that happening from here. Not to say that if they turn things around short to medium term theres some money to be made here, I just think the glory days are gone for ASOS

I can't see this getting back to the likes of £60 any time soon and by that I mean years, lot's of upbeat people but let's not forget it hasn't turned a corner yet, internally the company is a mess, and that takes time to re-structure and resolve, having to cut costs in a huge way to get anywhere near profit guidance is not exactly great news. As I stated BF sales were up but the rest of the months in Q! were just so so bad, ASOS needs to look at the brands it sells and stay relevant, increased competition and the macros still at play I still believe that Boo is a better bet, I have a small position here just in case the takeover does happen but I don't see the dizzy heights of previous years. I'll be keeping my ear close to the ground the next couple of quarters

ASO S black friday sales 15% UP on forecast but unlikely to change H1 being loss making

Rumours are sales 15% up on forecast for BF at ASOS but the rest of H1 has been bleak so think it will still be loss making as they try and turn the tide internally, it's a coin flip but the biggest indicator has been following short interest and that has reduced slightly to 7.45%

There is zero chance MA will launch a bid on this he will already know the bestseller are going nowhere and I'm sure they still hold some 30 odd percent, Ashley only takes a position on businesses on the slide to mop up on the cheap and I don't think that will happen here

Like I said before ASOS are anticipating a H1 loss which includes a successful black friday, internally the company was/is a mess and your mate Jose is depserately trying to turn that tide. This will see £5 before it sees £10/£15 i'm sure of that

A lot of H2 strategy will depend on black Friday, historically a lot of profit has come from Black Friday so fi H1 is due to be loss making then that is bad news I still expect this has some way to fall.

Several levels will start to be pulled including axing free returns for everyone outside of the United Kingdom, for everyone ramping this share the minute it bounces remember it's not just the macros as play here the business is in bad shape...

By lean he means redundancies and restructuring, over 20% of the workforce is facing the cut, there are rocky times ahead and we already know H1 will be loss making, how bad that is will depend on the cash call but i think at this point it is inevitable, Jose was COO while most of this was falling apart under Beighton so I have very little faith at this point that he dan execute on this plan

CEO is committed to buying X amount of shares you need to read the terms of his contract which was publicly available! How anyone can read these FY results and dive in is beyond me, beware the rampers! This is not going to go to £10, £15. £20 anytime soon! You're looking at a 12-24 month recovery min and this may well not be the bottom yet
