It is all down to the data for sure. I do believe, if we collate what is required the likelihood is we are bought out, or approval is given in June, as Chris has suggested.

My fear is recruitment more than anything & other Biotechs catching up, although it isn't like we've had the media coverage we deserve so maybe it isn't as crucial.

Either way, an exciting few week & months in store.

Although the research suggests it will be successful we still have an awful long way to go.

My biggest concern is time. The virus will be here for years to come, but we currently have a headstart over many other biotech.

If we deliver later than June, I fear that will be diminished.

I've counted 2M+ in delayed buys.

Simply that, a longer term view i guess. My thoughts are that this will strike again in the winter and be worse than this wave.

licensing will see this 10 bag and then some over a 3 month period, i believe through distribution deals and global partners. But, it is strange that they are yet to RNS distribution partners, surely they can get that in line in preparation for approval?

Now, if the offer was £2Billion, i'd snap their hands off but i'm not sure we will get that.

I'd much prefer a licensing deal as Ghia suggests.

But i'm not sure we carry enough weight to demand it.

On the basis that currently SGN are 16 people with 50+ consultants supporting the trial. It just is not viable for a team of that size to scale at speed to support a worldwide issue.

And so, if it is successful i believe the most likely outcome is a buyout.

Personally thankful to close the week off here, testing week i must say.

That corker of an RNS settled any nerves i had, but the SP on a day to day is a dog. Once the buy out comes we will sit back and laugh, i just hope the SGN team are as professional & accurate as the CEO seems to be.

Over to them now really, if it works they will build the most compelling data backed business case you'll ever see, people will be kept alive with their product, and we will all do very well out of it financially.

Since then, all buys. Some of which at a very decent volume.

I've said it before with this share, Pi's make no impact on the SP here. Everything is background bought & sold.

Buy out will happen, probably in the process of, but bloody hell how are we down here after getting arguably the best RNS we could of hoped for at this stage.

How have all gains been wiped out less than 24 hours of announcing our trial expansion. It is abysmal tbh. You've got other stocks flying on potential trial news, we are live, and have had it expanded yet here we are in the mid 50s.

I just can't believe i said yesterday we could be attacking 120 in the next few days. laughable.

I think we will be successful, the evidence is there but i reckon you could get in mid 40s they way this **** house performs.

This is the line from the RNS on the 14th April
'The trial has now been labelled as an Urgent Public Health study by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). Further updates will be made in due course. '

No further update was made until the expansion so i'm unsure if we will receive anything now. Appreciate they are very busy.

The drops are very frustrating.

Kwa, previously the company had a licensing deal with Astrazeneca for this very solutions.

They went in to trial but were unable to complete due to lack of enrollments (they had very specific enrollment criteria as SGN wanted to have the best data, in order to barter for a higher price)

When this took place, Astrazeneca walked away.

Naturally they will have a route into SGN still. And so the assumption would be, that this will of certainly pricked their ears up, although i'm sure they would of been in discussions prior to this development.

I genuinely think that 1.20 target could be under threat by close of play tomorrow.

We have a solution.
