This was he previous response where I asked why there seemed to be a delay in ce marl to indian approval submission.

This was because there were a number of steps that need to be taken to be in a position to submit the application. There was no delay it’s just that it takes some time to go through the process before the application is submitted. As the Company mentioned in its recent trading update in general, regulatory approvals are taking longer than anticipated and the regulatory agencies we are engaged with are unable to provide definitive timelines for approval. Obviously we hope to be able to announce approvals as soon as they are received.

I’m not involved with the process directly but following CE marking there needs to further registration in the UK and documents provided for foreign country submissions. Most countries require documents to be notarised (and for some this has to be done at their embassy). The Company also needs to apply for an Indian test import licence to send product through customs and all of this takes a bit of time I’m afraid.

This isnt my industry, very limited approval understanding so doing my best to familiarize myself and create some sort of timeframe but little progress.

Had comms with Walbrook.

According to them, 0 delay in approval submission in India. 'Certain steps' had to be taken prior to submission. And it is entirely out of GDR hands.

He listed the steps he was aware of. And I've done a bit of due diligence and personally dont believe it warrants the delay. One step was registering for india test import license but it's all done online through a portal.. and docs to be notarized which often takes place at countries embassy.

I can post the email exchange if it is of interest.

Reason I wanted to understand the process is so i can determine the urgency in play at GDR. Perhaps insignificant but would rather know.

Is there a logical explanation for that buy price?

Ken, taking on debt for an investment on the markets has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've heard.

I have seen some posts across lse of people admitting to that but I just see it as plain madness.

I know it is difficult not to check for intraday movements but this isnt going to improve quickly.

You have to ask yourself if you believe covid will return this winter or not? If you believe it will, then you'll get an opportunity to get your money back, me included..

I'm not convinced bod will deliver. Only thing that will save us is sentiment. Look at the Nasdaq and covid plays there are flying as cases continue to spiral in the states.

Another wave and covid stocks will see a dramatic uplift much like they did in March again.

I'd like to see some commercial hires at GDR. 40 people, 2 commercial. It's a tough ask I feel to enter multiple markets and manage disti channels and direct sales oops in the millions with 2 heads.

Sent an email to walbrook this afternoon asking for clarification on the reasons for our late submission into india and America. hoping for a logical response and not one hidden in corporate bullsh it. I'd disagree, only due to the fact covid wave 1 has passed in Europe.

They'll have their incumbents and no doubt surplus stock left.

They now have the breathing space to plan more diligently for a 2nd wave. Now, if our test is gold standard, sales will come from this geography.

I'd like to know how many conversations are ongoing in Europe but of course no way of finding that out.

My request was denied (as expected) regarding their partner enablement documentation. This is key in my opinion to ensure distis are clued up and equipped to sell. We can not fulfill sales in house.

I personally think it is divoc with those 1m in principle. Pure opinion based on nothing but a hunch.

At this point in time I wish I picked Avct ovet GDR.

They partnered with modern water this morning g and certainly know how to sell to investors.

GDR, great tech and product. To date, a lack of urgency and competence in getting it to market.

No excuses for delays on approvals. They should of applied immidiately considering it is our 'key' market.

Applying for an approval in the middle of June is nothing short of criminal.

@flying thanks for posting your response regarding the software tool. Seems plausible they see this as a feature to coearce targets in further simplifying the process.

I have 0 understanding of diagnostics software. Anyone know what it runs off? I work in software so trying to understand if previous tools would have a dependency on older operating systems.

Also can our software tool only be used for Genedrive diagnostics?

You've been here much longer than most. Wanted to ask you a few questions.

Firstly, what is your opinion on DB? Strictly in relation to competance and commercial astuteness since being in role at Genedrive. I ask as I've only been here since April as such have a very short term view on the leadership.

Also, has their commercial lead, Gordon Powell done any interviews? I can see he has years of experience in the field but his previous few roles are advisory roles until position at GDR. what tends to happen is you lose your cutting edge when you stop doing and start advising.. not saying that is the case btw, it is just an assumption and something I've seen happen.

Also, what is your expected timeline for PoC device delivery?

Sorry for all the questions, but appreciate your view. I'm trying to dig a couple layers deeper on this one. I see this turning but not for a few weeks or so.

Btw the divoc lead will have direct routes into specific indian state healtchare services.. check his previous jobs.. sure website looks like an Evian ad but its who you know and he was very snr @ public health foundation of India.
