Now, considering the gov have opted to award to a private company rather than absolve this into CONDOR or Consortium testing, do we think there is an opportunity for GDR here?

Or, more likely they have instructed Delloitte to organise, manage and run (as UK Gov are not capable of executing), and it will be gov chosen tests used.

Views welcome as could be a interesting prospect but i'm unsure on the detail.

Agreed Magsy, quite stunning how BB influences newcomers. When he has been wrong countless times and i can't remember ever seeing an informative post outside of his L2 insight.

Mcap projections tad early for me, Pilot phase to clear with Beckman and if achieved will no doubt uncover scale of opportunity & Profit margin which we can then directly attribute to Mcap forecast.

Either way, appear we have turned a corner from the downward spiral we were on which is good to see. Long may it continue.

Also, it is my view our cost price will be lower than £10, if going direct to lab at scale they will want a discount.. Just my view and i could be very wrong.

I''m going off my own industry knowledge which to be frank probably isn't comparable..

We are yet to pass validation with Beckman, and in my view we must add a huge amount of operational capacity for us to be rolled out country wide.

However, the 100k i interpret as their expanded capacity at the 10 sites... 10K + across 10 sites Meaning, their actual capacity is far greater than 100k tests per day.. we just do not know exactly what that capacity exactly is or GDRs role in supporting this figure (at this stage).

Also, shift patterns do not apply in relation to the automated sites - 24/7. I think? But again, i do not know if Beckman operate the automated labs in all their sites..

I'm hopeful of news next week given the odd trading activity today but lots of questions on Beckman and i really think an investor presentation is necessary.

I’ve emailed a few time’s but had little back, Comms are really Bad.

Given the missed deadlines confidence is low and you see that with the daily volumes and flat SP.

I’ve not got a scooby what is going on outside of Beckman.

I’m relation to expected news. Are we all aligned that ICMR should be coming in before the end of August?

I ask as I’m sick of my own expectations leading to disappointment here.

I don't know, of course. but my thought process is this.

Firstly, gov missed their own testing targets for a number of weeks in May. Then they were founded to be counting various tests on the same individuals in their figures.. Ie Antigen/Antibody... So although i am sure they have desire to massively ramp up, i'm not sure they have the ability to execute.

Secondly, and probably the most important one is that GDR are not in bed with UK gov. The testing consortium set up by UK Gov & the CONDOR programme have their partners, we are in neither. I would imagine all requirements will be shared out amongst these parties, of course, if there is further need we may well be involved but unlikely (in my view)

Thirdly, it has been stated on multiple occasions that the focus here is US, India & Africa.

Although great for controlling the virus as we leave summer behind, i am not sure it will in anyway benefit GDR.

I'd agree with Punter there, it is certainly not headline news. The fallout of our incompetent government currently centre stage. However, i do believe that will change as we leave Summer behind. And i think you do too Punter.

Although i share your opinion regarding CE and sales, TB. I think your outlook is misplaced.

Beckman has transformed the investment opportunity here. Prior to the announcement i was beginning to think failing FDA or ICMR was a distinct possibility, simply due to the time it is taking. However, Beckman will not make a decision lightly to absolve our test into their diagnostic processing. They will be influencing the speed of FDA and no doubt be in touch with people there to support and get it moving forward. Equally, once achieved there is a guaranteed source of revenue (of course dependant on a successful pilot), upon internal approval & rollout there it should become an extremely lucrative & secure source of revenue.

You must remember we are being absolved into a lab system, no gov meddling, no tender applications or fear of being ousted by competition. It will become an extremely sticky partnership.

I would imagine, any Beckman automation arm purchased will include an add on of GDR tests also to further improve output. And they sell as Technik was suggesting a complete diagnostics system.

Don't get me wrong, i'm equally frustrated with timings and i was hopeful a change in sentiment had occurred over the past few days and we could settle above 100p prior to news.

Will have nothing to do with GDR. We do not have the man power to pursue aviation/tourism testing.

Our clear GTM is via large scale diagnostics centre, hence Beckman & Divoc. Just need approvals. Will be interested to learn how we are looking to engage in Africa.

Could do with an investors presentation update early September should approvals arrive beforehand.

You know what, it's just bloody lovely to see the SP heading in the right direction 3 days in a row and pre approvals.

I am very much looking forward to understanding the impact our beads have on Beckman lab outputs. IF for an instance we add 25% capacity, the value to Beckman will be astronomical.

I'm sure we will gain clarity on this in the coming weeks.

I'm not worried about the outlook of the organisation.

But beckman/danahar will have us over a barrel if we do not have other sales outlets.

Approvals I certainly think will be in within this period but sales are an unknown.

Hypothetically speaking, if a bid were to come. We need to be above £2, as with that will come substantial sales figures.

I do fear if it were to come early it will not be a very high bid as Beckman have huge leverage. Danahar currently managing our manufacturing and sales output.

A vaccine does not make testing null & void.

Testing will be here for 18 months +. As any outbreak needs to be managed at its source, the only way to ensure that is rigorous testing.

Vaccines are yet to be approved or pass out a phase 3. And of the reports I've read does not provide indefinite immunity and will vary in its effectiveness from person to person.

So although the media will focus on the vaccine, as it is of course their silver bullet to get back to normal... we are entering the worst recession on record, it's my view that testing will remain ever present to ensure we do not fall back to a national lockdown.

So, in your experience. Would the pilot phase that ran in the middle of May with Cytiva cover off all tech & capacity requirements? Reason i ask, is i am of the view that the RNS listed as hitting manufacturing milestones was GDR saying we are ready to rock, all manufacturing capability good to go for the second we receive CE Mark.

I personally do not see them achieving any sales with the hearing test this year going on existing capability showcased in commercialising an offering.

I know this might seem really negative but i do think GDR will come good, in time. I wouldn't remain invested if i didn't think there was serious room for growth. My expectations are just very low based on last few months.

It isn't superior, at least not to end users. Otherwise governments would of been all over it.

There are no doubt benefits to streamlining in the lab environment, hence the partnership with Beckman & even Divoc. Both lab focuses. But we do not yet know how lucrative these will be yet.
