Morning all.
This RNS reads well to me. Not sure if I'm reading between the lines too much but this phrase stood out -
'Builds on successful outcomes of current research programme on meeting key milestones for monoclonal antibody characterization and assay platform optimization'
Note the last three words - does this suggest that the assay optimization is nearing a key milestone? Even better, actually the milestone has already been met ?
Base case : assay optimization is progressing well to schedule
More news on the assays in the near future would be fantastic and could prove quite a catalyst if the market grasps the concept and gravity of the news. Fingers crossed.

Morning all.
Break of a 45 day trend. Nice to see. Hope it sticks.

Tygra 16:34.
You too matey. Small holding here from a few years back (so a horrible average that's slowly coming down with a monthly HL subscription) but following the GGP story with interest. No where near well enough researched to post anything meaningful, but there's some good GGP folk with great knowledge so good info to point me in the right direction to follow up. Generally a nice clean chat so happy to read up and learn a bit more. Probably going to sit in the shadows and keep out of the way, but big kudos to those more in tune that are providing the crumbs for me to follow. Appreciate it!
All the best my 'ansom - wish you well here and elsewhere.

TNCP = "Non price forming / Non Price Forming Transactions / Non Price Contribution to Discovery Indicators."
ECHO/SINT. Also likely to be Off Exchange
Likely this is the reason the bid/ask hasn't moved.
....Might be someone poking the nest to see if there's anything inside

Did find another tenuous link - Cornish Lithium and Techmet were original founding members of The Critical Minerals Association. CMA also has links also to Cornish Metals, Cornwall Resources, British Lithium and Tungsten West.

Just a heads up - not sure this connection has been made before. I certainly don't remember seeing it posted but apologies if it's common knowledge. I was looking at Techmet, on an un related matter, and noticed that Adonis Pouroulis is sat on Techmet's advisory board.

@pawgee - echo Vii's comment 19:44 - thanks for the heads up on VBR.
Techmet are worth looking into. They figure in a few projects round the world in the battery metals / critical minerals space that I am familiar with - including CL and thus indirectly with CUSN. So your 13:39 post is perfectly relevant IMO.
Mennell, particularly, is a well connected fella and they have access to some big US money. Like I say, worth a little google if you're not familiar with them.

Exactly. Kinda my point re the 27p (in fact 18p too) but more eloquently posted by your good self:)
Also saw you copied it on the TUN board. Tin is in their basket too. So a few alignments exist, and not just strategic. I wonder if there is some scope for VBR to provide some scaffold funding for the mine buildout. That's a subject of conversation right now with those guys. Just a thought.
I need to start looking if there are any ties between some of these players - The Critical Minerals Association, Techmet etc. Interesting times ahead for all these West Country miners.
Must dash.

Hiya Vii. Hope you're well. Nice find on vbr!
Helps to go back and review the original investment info. Funnily enough I was looking at this a few weeks back.

A spokesman for the Department for Business and Trade said: “It’s vital we have a secure supply of critical minerals for UK businesses, and that is precisely what our Critical Minerals Strategy will do.
“The UK has recently signed several critical mineral agreements with key countries, including Canada and Australia, and our accession to CPTPP will help improve the resilience of our supply chains further.
“The Government will continue to stand up for UK businesses, working with our friends and allies around the world on issues where our interests align.”

@fulmar - this subject was bought up on another BB. The following is from a telegraph article with comments from Brian Mennell (Technmet)
China ‘weaponising’ grip on vital rare earth metals
Beijing plots crackdown on technology crucial for modern tech
China has been accused of “weaponising” its grip on the rare earth metals needed for wind turbines and electric cars amid reports it is preparing a ban on exports of key technology.
Beijing is reportedly drawing up plans to block exports of technology needed to process and magnetise the metals, raising the spectre of shortages in the West given China’s dominance in the market.
Jack Richardson, an associate fellow at the Council on Geostrategy, said: “The Government should be very concerned.
“China has a strong position in the global economy built up since the eighties. It is seeking to corner the market in clean tech as it does in other sectors like steel. We need to join the Americans, Japanese, and others, and work together to water down China’s leverage.”
Paul Atherley, chairman of UK rare earths refinery developer Pensana, said: “This represents a seismic shift from China’s previous position and brings an outright export ban one step closer.
“China said they would never introduce export restrictions on rare earths after 2011. The announcement appears to be a clear warning of its willingness to weaponize its dominant position in rare earths.”
Brian Menell, chairman of critical-metals investor TechMet, said: “The fact that there is a prospect of them using this weapon is very disturbing. It indicates the rise of the assertive confidence of China on the global stage and their sense that they can play these games.”
Rare earths are a group of metals such as neodymium and dysprosium with used in high-tech uses, such as for making the permanent magnets that help wind turbines run.
Despite the name, the metals are abundant in the earth. China dominates the market in producing and processing them into usable products, however.
Its move to restrict technology exports comes as rival countries attempt to cut their reliance on China’s supply chains, wary of any escalation of tensions over Taiwan.
Gareth Hatch, a rare earth elements expert and boss of Strategic Materials Advisory, said the restrictions threatened to hit American and European companies with specialist equipment on order from China, such as furnaces and presses used to make magnets.
He said: “It can be a nine, twelve, eighteen-month lead time when you are ordering this kind of equipment, because the companies that manufacture it don't sell thousands - they are done to order.
“So if there are folks who placed their orders a while ago and the kit is on its way on a boat or in a warehouse somewhere, there's going to be some concern now. Anyone who is relying on Chinese hardware, that's going to be an issue.”
I was reading about this last night. A fair amount about it here Fulmar - looks like it's a ban on export of the refining and production technology rather than the actual product.

Thanks mate. Appreciated. We're on the same page.
I'm reminded of a comment AS made on a linkedin post recently regarding the startcodon seminar he presented at a few weeks ago...
'Looking forward to a great discussion on the importance and value of communications, messaging and image.
What to say or not, to who and when!'
Strengthens the idea that timing is everything.
Enjoy your Easter break.
