From the view of the current import volume of various vanadium products, it's far from the negative impact because China's vanadium demand potential is huge. China's vanadium demand in rebar is the main tone of market development, Chinese vanadium market is in the rapid growth period now. Although in the short term, the increase of vanadium import volume will have a negative impact, I believe that with the economic recovery in and outside China, the demand for vanadium will return to normal, and in the long term, there will be no negative impact.

Actual trade logs from Metal Bulletin is the only accurate way of knowing what V is selling for.

BMN now use them all for their average quarterly regional prices.
Getting a live spot price can be very problematic unless you subscribe £3.5k annually for that Information.
Asian Metal cover China and Asia releasing the information around 0330 hrs Monday to Friday as a percentage trend.
BMN now diversify with their vanadium products, but mainly Nitrovan which carries a 5%+ premium and FeV.
It takes a lot of digging to get trade logs now, but they do filter through.
Knowing the trend is rising and using it as a guide is all that is needed to pre opening bell.
It's not difficult to calculate the price using historic prices.

According to Fastmarkets MB, benchmark 62% Fe fines imported into Northern China (CFR Qingdao) were changing hands for $174.07 per tonne, setting a new near-decade high.

Year-to-date, the steelmaking raw material has enjoyed 8.5% gains after an 80% rise last year. The benchmark hit an all-time high of $191.70 in February 2011.

The high-grade Brazilian index (65% Fe fines) also advanced to a near record high of $195.30 a tonne, after rising about 78% over the past year.

Still I don't suppose any market value is credited to it, they probably don't even know we have it.

Iron ore’s stellar run was largely due to the rising industrial demand from China. Last year, the country produced a record 1.05 billion tonnes of steel, a breakthrough as it is the first time the 1 billion mark has been exceeded.

Global production of vanadium runs at around 73,000t with relative inelasticity in the ability to increase production to meet new demand.

I have listened to all the debates on the different forums about BE/BMN taking larger stakes or even owning their own VRFB company. The vanadium content in a VRFB is between 30 to 40%
IMO people still don't get it.
However controls the Vanadium supply, controls the VRFB market.
