European vanadium prices had no obvious change

Date: Jul 23, 2018 www.ferroalloynet.com: On July 20, European ferrovanadium prices remained stable at 81-83 $/kg V; and European vanadium pentoxide prices increased slightly to 19(↑0.1)-19.85 $/lb V2O5. American ferrovanadium prices increased to 38.6(↑1.1)-39.5(↑1.0) $/lb V. Meanwhile, Chinese ferrovanadium 78% min export prices rose to 79(↑1.0)-83(↑1.0) $/kg V, fob China, and Chinese V2O5 98% min prices stabilized at 18.5-19 $/lb V2O5, fob China.

Vanadium transaction volume picks up slightly

Date: Jul 23, 2018 www.ferroalloynet.com: Chinese vanadium market remains stable and the transaction volume picks up slightly. Ammonium metavanadate is trading at about 250000 rmb/ton, and the sellers become willing to deliver cargoes. Vanadium pentoxide flake suppliers sell out once they have inventories,and the transaction increases in number. Vanadium-nitrogen prices stabilize in a range of 400000-420000 rmb/ton but there are few transactions on high end

More large rises for FeV in Europe and the USA, V205 in Europe also climbs.
With Fev now in the mid 80's these rises are significant, $100 per kg is coming very soon.

To ensure the accuracy of the vanadium pricing project all information is collated from Metal Bulletin’s historic trade logs, as BMN use their monthly average of FeV in Europe for their figures when they RNS prices.
Gaining access to them on a regular basis is problematic and very expensive but we have found ways of dealing with this.
Ferralloynet, vanadium price (Prophecy) Asian metal and tweets from mastermines and DragonEV are also used as guides but TBP is not updated until conformation from MBs trade logs are published

It doesn't really matter, AIM rules state that our H1 6 monthly financial interims must be published by 30th September.

I think the Spangles and Shard had best revise their 2018 average FeV price ASAP. (their mates will have to pay the going rate to get on board)
Or its going to need an industrial strength cleaner to remove the egg from their faces.
