They could Alrosa ( the Russian company in Zimbabwe)could Jv with another company. If they own a certain percentage it allows the other company to sell them on their behalf.

Not saying it’s vast but it can be done

Economic and investment meetings held at mature today. Lots of ministers and the president there. Looks like there could be some new mines opening soon

It’s a buy!! An order placed and taken time to fill. It’s been far lower the last few days. Onwards and upwards from here. The journalists has used my information for reports before. I’ve supplied him with information about what’s going on elsewhere with vast. He’s looking for information for more articles. He wants the best for Zimbabwe and there’s an article where vast say they are going to set the standard going forward, paying better wages and investing in the local community. He wants to push that, where the Russians and Chinese haven’t. Time will tell if it’s genuine but he’s been honest with me so far.

Let’s see what happens. But I’d rather be in than out at the moment. Lots of things coming together and things are looking good for vast in the near term and in a year’s time with the assets they have. This company could be huge by next Xmas.

ASI I agree risk v reward. Possibly diamonds and mining contracts in a resource rich area. Diamonds plus other minerals

I think it will be announced on or before the KP meeting on the 5th November. It will look good in front of international investors they have sorted this and are open for more investment

Well I’ve had a reply from my journalist contact

My source tells me negotiations are still ongoing but at an advanced stage with an announcement imminent on the release of the diamonds package and deal between Vast and government through the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development. The talks were delayed by the movement of ministers after the elections. 14:56

I will hopefully have an update on the diamonds soon. My journalist contact said he will hopefully update me today or tomorrow

I think it’s part of the agreement to get the diamonds released. He must invest some of the money back into Zimbabwe. He will clear the debt and what remains will be invested back into the mine. Part of getting the mining license you must have finance to cover the cost of the mine. I don’t think it would cost that much to start as income will be coming in to cover the rest. I think £2-4 million was mentioned in some article I read

I’ve had it confirmed by a journalist in Zimbabwe that ZCDC mine is in the location of the area vast have agreed to mine. So it does look like the ZCDC are doing the ground work and preparing the area to start mining for diamonds with Vast

AP stated that they now know the process that needs to be done to release the diamonds.

Also the ZCDC have started on a new mine in Chiadzwa mature district. The same location as vasts diamond concession. Is this just a coincidence or have the ZCDC made a start on the mine waiting for vast to get the money then announce the JV

Did AP let something slip in the interview? Just before he spoke of diamonds he was talking about where vast has the option to buy a bigger stake in the new gold mines in Tajikistan. He says if they have money to invest in a MONTH then quickly says in 4 or 6 months. Why say a month??

Does he have a timeline for receiving the diamonds? Also the KP meeting at the start of November. That gives him time to get them cleaned valued and sold. All before the deadline of 29th November.

They are not giving it away as they sold the pickstone mine to buy in. Each of the gold mines ( 12 in total) are bigger than that mine. They use there experience and skills to run the mines

In the interview AP talks about lithium in Tajikistan. All at no cost to us. We just get a slice of profits. 12 mines for gold and silver with the tail kings on top of that. So that will be 13 mines in total just for gold,silver and platinums
