If it was me I apologise I didn’t mean to call you a mug. What I meant to say your calculation’s were wrong at $1000 per carat in good terms yes. But on averages for the area they are $50 per carat. I’m drunk so I apologise if I came across wrong. I agree there’s more to come and once the debt is cleared everything else will be taken into account and a proper rerate is coming

Historic claims is the mining license not the parcel. Which is part of the claim. The court case was to get the diamonds. As ASI pointed some of the difficulty that’s taken time to get this legally processed
I take as posted before there’s terms for receiving and getting them to market. You will know the Kimberly process as vast don’t have a mining license or or still have the original license. I take it’s to do with transferring them to vasts ownership legally. Has AP has stated this has never happened before so it’s setting the legal framework so there’s no come back to the RBZ. Also it may have to include Zimbabwe’s cut from the diamond sale. If they just give a permit they can leave the country and Zimbabwe don’t get their cut. I don’t know the ins and outs but it has been the RBZ that’s been holding everything up. Hence AP went twice to them with the sheriff
This resulted in the formation of Katanga Mining.
A further JV agreement between Katanga and the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamonds Corporation, a government entity is set to be officially signed.

Same story different company
ASI The RBZ would release a method to release the diamonds. This could well have been sorted and that’s what the story is about. Vast could now have the method for the diamonds to be released. They don’t have them yet but they now have a legal way to collect and extract them from Zimbabwe. Hence why they expect the mining license to go through
ASI yes I know. But we have had no news from anyone. This is from a major news outlet in Zimbabwe. AP did say he was stopping all talks on the mining deal until the issue of the diamonds is sorted. I’m just pointing it out it’s some news and it sounds good ( from the headline). I would expect to hear more over the weekend and hopefully more in-depth. By point it out hopefully others will check and search for more stories ( As I’m on my last day of holiday and don’t have time). We probably won’t hear anything official until the markets open on Monday
The almighty Rick doesn’t have a busy life and a phone with predictive text. He has time to check the spelling and grammar. We plebs can only dream to be at the same level as you
You need to do your math again. Your way out on on your price total for $1000 per carat🤣
They range fro $50 a carat in that area. But there is estimates on line for the price and AP made it clear on the known price. I found an article that the company who had the diamonds confiscated were valued at $31mill in 2017 ( I think the date is right). But we don’t know until independently valuation
I’ll spell it out load and clear!! The mining license got put on hold buy VAST. Until the diamonds were released.
IT WILL NOW SAIL THROUGH!!

Debt extension Monday. You’ve heard it hear first 😉
Never mentioned capstone
Steward the TR1 on the 19th never mentioned ( as I got corrected by ASI). It just said Barclays. We presumed it was capstone because that was near their share holding and it had increased. But it looks like it’s a new player or capstone buying through Barclays ( could be swaps again?). It doesn’t specify who the client is
Sandy
Not true. Capstone as an international investor only needs to notify increases every 5% . So their next Tr1 would be at 10% or if they fall below 5%. Hence why we didn’t receive one with their latest increase
Foreign investors don’t have to notify until the cross 5% intervals
Vast website has updated capstone share holdings
Shares have already hit the market. The site has just been updated. Vast revived their final instalment for the shares today
