Beacon Energy (AIM:BCE) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Rhein Petroleum GmbH, has contracted a fully-crewed drilling rig from RED Drilling & Services GmbH ("RED Drilling") for the planned Schwarzbach-2 ("SCHB-2") development well within the Erfelden Field, onshore South West Germany.

The rig is expected to mobilise in early-June 2023 targeting a mid-June spud. Drilling operations are expected to take 25 days to reach the prognosed TD drilling depth of 2255m (1709m True Vertical Depth), with an additional 12 days scheduled for testing. The drilling pad has been prepared and the 20" conductor pipe has been set at 85 metres.

It is anticipated that once completed, the SCHB-2 well will be tied-in to existing production facilities at the Schwarzbach site which will take approximately 12 days to complete.

No I posted the story because I wanted someone to be able to access it. You did and I am thankful. If I wanted to hide it I wouldn’t have posted the story. Well my man down the pub, says it’s just guess work. As passiton says why would they do this it’s not good for business and investment. They possibly dragging their feet so vast are applying more pressure to speed the situation up. With the election coming up they will want it sorted, they will not want this being brought up by opposing parties in the election. If it does go to court it will be passed through quickly to get this resolved before the election

From what AP has released about the debt extension being extended and the recent press releases ( from mining index and mining Zimbabwe). I think that things have been sorted. As part of the release of the diamonds they have to be cleaned and valued. This could be happening now. I think the debt extension is ready to be signed once the export permit is granted. This could happen anytime, I think the best confrontation of will be the debt extension. Personally I think Ap will take them himself to be sold then he is not wanting for things to happen in Zimbabwe as they are so slow. Hopefully we should hear something next week 🤞

The thing that’s taken the time is the legality of it. As AP has said nothing has happened before. They have to cover all aspects so things don’t come back on them. Plus it has to cover the Kimberly process for legal reasons
