I spoke with AJBell yesterday as i wanted to top up my SIPP with VELA. I got nowhere and they weren't sure why i couldn't purchase it. I got fobbed off by being told the guy would send me a secure message, obviously he never did. No problems in HL ISA though.

My personal opinion is that we will leave the bullish falling wedge pattern and continue to grow. This would be driven by the hopefully positive investment news we are expecting from mainly VELA and MODE amongst others.

If so, at what point does VELA need to declare their investment either via a TR1 here on an RNS from VELA?

It is only a hunch that VELA are invested here, i have no evidence for this claim, other than VELA have 2 million in the bank and JNs link.

Does anybody think JN has invested the (up to) £2 million sat in the VELA bank into RDGC?

I had a quick look today through those RNSs and it shows that a few people here and there bought and sold shares in quantities which crossed the TR1 thresholds; nothing conclusive IMO although ill caveat that by admitting not investing ample time. Im inclined to believe its a toss of a coin, a 50/50 or 1 in 2. If the potential return is greater than 2X then the risk could be worth it depending on ones perspective (another way to put it is, if you flipped a pound coin and heads is worth £20 and tails = you lose the coin - do you take the gamble). So:

a) Whats the potential return and why?

b) Any insight which might suggest the risk it more or less swayed in a particular way?

Interesting, i noticed a lot of RNSs regarding shareholder dealings. Any idea what return a deal might make? I think im going to trawl through the RNSs this weekend to understand a bit more about the dealings.

I notice on JNs linkedin page he has been a non exec director for 5 months. I actually cant find much info about what RDGC actually does? Can someone elaborate? The RDGC website doesn't elaborate further either https://www.ridgecrestplc.com/ Anything involving JN has my interest :-)

Presumably once its listed on the LSE, demand should increase as its easier to access and so should the price accordingly.

Although HL just offered me 0.718 to buy. These levels cant stay this low for long now i dont think.

We’re not expecting any significant news imminently. Read the RNS regarding dates for the SGS trials. And he’s under no obligation to invest his 2 million because we say so. Maybe he’s using it as working capital?

The most recent RNS states:

'the timelines for database lock and the reporting of the initial study results will be communicated. At this time, it is estimated that initial results will be available by the end of June 2021, with the full results available approximately 8 weeks thereafter.'

That tweet does not indicate a timeline and therefore an RNS based on that would be essentially meaningless. If he did RNS on that, people would no doubt be saying how lightweight and uninformative an RNS it was. The mere fact that the tweet indicates the trial is complete is a given.

Like the trial, we need patience and lots of it. Stay rational. Remember why you invested.

Is there any reason why AJ Bell don't let you purchase this share in a pension?

I hope this is the start of an upward trend, because all i see is good news yet the share price slides by too much. Can anyone shed some light as to why this is the case recently?
