Ace - if you've been in LPO, XEN or XBIO for any length of time, I'm sure you know how opaque pharmas can be about their plans and machinations, and how things almost never happen when they say they will.
Last Friday's move was, I hope, the beginning of a rise to a more reasonable valuation. Scott did imply a year or two ago that PIs would not be able to participate in the IPO but would get their chance of some cheap shares - well, we sat at $3.50 or thereabouts for a month or two after the IPO, many of us, myself included, very ****ed off that our AIM investments were now worth half or less than what we bought them for five or more years ago. I took the opportunity to add a few shares, but not as many as I'd have felt comfortable with previously. Even now, we are still at little more than a quarter of what OPKO paid for a slice a year ago, so to me it's still a bargain, even given the dilution - if you have any confidence left after the last few years.
For me, I still think there's nothing wrong with the science, so the share will come good, it just takes the patience of Job.
