Jd got 79,000 staff, not sure what uk total is, made up full time/part time, and low hour contracts, which are no good to man or beast, put even more on low hour in stores would not work, lot take these jobs because have to or desperate, while looking for better job.

we both said this 2or 3 times going some way back now, lose 1 staff per store maybe 2 in some.do not lay off staffs markets will not like and sp will go down for a while.freeze on recruitment would be answer no harm done,

I walked first time in jd with my daughter, it was some time ago,icould not believe it, staff every where I was not looking to do a report, just the very first thing I picked up on, and hardly a customer.not sure if a head office idea,prehaps we can afford extra staff, even when stores quiet, give stores a busier look and a feel good factor, like to know the reason.but never ever known any other stores this over staffed.

there are staff in several different stores that are time and motioned for there work lot non stop work and have to be quick,if not called into managers office, for rucking, reprimands,and final warning
