the natural path seems that most tech/music gets gobbled up , when you research it is very clear the music industry is fed up with these giants especially the artists , i do agree that this might happen to Melody but buying Napster and their other partners does allow the music industry another path , i don't know what percentage these giants take and they obviously have the last say and absolute power which just maybe their downfall this time ?? only my view , i would rather Face book gobble Melody up for my share price but just another view from an old man :)

i must disagree with your post , i do believe that Melody and their new management have a plan and it is to take them on , reading all the info this is a building a new type of company and imo its to keep the spoils within the industry and not the vessel , i did think that this small fly would have been bought out but i don't think that any more . unless i am reading this wrong or there is a smoke screen Melody and music partners are setting up to have a go at the vessels , why should the music industry not have their own platform ------------

Could Melody and its bigger partners want to own as much of the business model as possible and not allow face book or any of the other players in , you would think that the music industry would want back the control and royalties or are deals inplace to difficult to get out/around . the reason why i ask this is the buy out with Napster is a different path ? imo

could we see 1-2 years from today i always gave it 5 years but see it a lot quicker now .

so with our new partner Napster and the still working with Live Nation and O2 , and some arrangement deal to come , and a possible 25 million O2 to look at with Melody keeping the main share of the profit ( don't forget Melody have been paying for the shows ) this will then eventually get us to the US market ------------------ what could go wrong ------------------ nothing imo .

imo there will be a change of guard and the new pay masters have allowed Melody to buy Napster setting up the business for the next phase , i have NO idea what this could be as only 1 on this forum noted this buy out with all us not posting after , the 50/50 sentiment against 90/10 on this share is impossible to equate and figure out , what i find interesting is that livenation kept involved whilst this buy out was going on months ago ?? so i always posted FB to take control originally , but also posted Live Nation are better suited to own later , now i didn't see this last RNS coming at all , it threw me right off , but i believe that for Melody to be allowed to buy out that debt and dilute is telling me there are serious commercial feelings about not just Melody but all the ingredients that will follow on ,

I think Melody is now under the control of who will eventually own the business , we all wondered why 800 artists were held back , today answered that question , and IMO the music industry has been diluted over the last 10 years , with today's RNS and all the bigger puppeteers are we looking at future artists/shows only being shown via this new business vehicle ( Melody or another ) so you have to pay ?? no more free shows on you tube ? The music sign up has always been a technical nightmare but you can't deny what Melody has achieved , Theatre for me will be the biggest sell and the easiest profit -------
