I hope melody and partners take this opportunity to become as disruptive as possible ( ok we have our bosses to please ) but to bring to the industry a fairer less greedy approach and share the profit mainly with the artists . and i think this is what they are building , i do hammer home the RNS with JG , but i believe JG and Melody want the world to see theatre and thats a passion as i would like to believe . i have always wondered why melody have not released their library , thats because their building this into this huge company which i guess was in the making in 2019 or all the threads have been pot luck ???? who knows but they have kept financials back which will be released in 6 months if the last 3 months are divided .

Travis Scott's Fortnite concert earlier this year drew 12 million viewers. Obviously, VR doesn't have the install base for that kind of viewership, but it does show an itch for online events that VR could scratch as adoption grows. VR concert applications are beginning to see this appetite for live shows grow first-hand: The Wave raised $30M in funding in June of this year while MelodyVR has had 10 times as many concerts through the pandemic compared to the same timeframe a year ago. The likes of John Legend and Chance the Rapper have turned to the technology to give concerts during COVID, and sports are getting on board, too: ONE Championship has partnered with Oculus to show matches in VR, while Sky Worlds has started showing Premier League matches in VR as well. We'll see a lot more of this, and a lot more high-profile names, in the coming year.

just a reminder , Asia will be huge , Singtel TV , John Gore Organisation already working with Disney , JG has been working with Melody , we will soon see what has been developed , 58 billion spent on theatre entertainment 2019 ( thats home entertainment only ) , not one piece of news on Melody/JGO for a year , keeping to Melodies brilliant silent business .

Just to Add on the 360 for music , is this what is needed when you are with your friends at a VR concert and you can interact with them all . just a thought .

I bought into Melody knee deep when John Gore came on board , theatre for me is perfect for 360 and once the over 50s can put on a light weight pair of glasses i think that is when i see Vr in its element . trouble is Covid has set Theatre Vr back 1 year though i do think 2021 with vaccinations and testing we will see this slowly being rolled out with a small covid free crowd . in the RNS JG wanted to bring theatre to the rest of the world which with 5G and glasses works as a business model for me . imo Gla .

I dont understand the tech side but i watched Burner Boy on a top end lap top and it blew me away , the picture and sound was as good at it gets , i have never seen him before so i wanted to gauge my opinion on a new artist. i watched it with a friend and he also felt the same , i am 55 and if they add artists that i like i will be buying the shows , but on TV , i will purchase the light weight glasses in 2 years time but even they will need a couple of models in to perfect , so i think that the buffering issue will be ironed out in time , will 5g in Singapore do this ?

Cheapie it is only my opinion but , they are saying 30 million need the injection to be safe ?? then 12 week wait until the 2nd injection , without any more variants , over 50 will stay away from theatre way past the safe sign off , sorry that is how i see it .
and 7 billion more need this for it to work world wide .

Tidel tried this approach but was caught not paying the artists Royalty's , i think this is a very important part of their business plan , as before i think there is some meat in the publishing to share out if its allowed , imo .
i dont know if its the reason why Tidal have failed ( looks like going to JD ) but would not of shone a great light on Jay-Z and gang and maybe left the company toxic in their hands , gla.
