Thanks seadoc for having a go. Your calculation will at least give those that aren't sure how to work things out some idea, hopefully.
So much hype and total BS on AIM. Very few back up their statements with some sort of proof.
wasred. Let's have some calculations and figures from you?
I'm not pretending to be an expert at working out share prices, but I've had a go with the figures posted earlier. That's why I'm inviting anyone to come up with a more precise figure, but please show your calculations .
Anyone calculated what UKOG share price would be, based on say $10/barrel profit. Call production 600/day. Then consider the debt, shares in issue (7.5 Billion approx) and future exploration costs. I make it approx .333p but that's without the bebt, exploration costs and extra shares. Some of you are I'm sure far better at working out an accurate figure.
I know $10 profit is small but do we really expect prices to come roaring back anytime soon? There has been tremendous demand destruction caused by the CV that alone will take a long time to recover from.
Does anyone really believe that the share price here is worth more than .3-.4p?
Can someone with more in depth knowledge of Xeros explain why this company hasn't managed to exploit it's full potential? I've read quite a lot and understand the negative effect that association with Neil Woodford has had but considering that the share price has been as high as £3.50 even with the Woodford effect what happened? Would appreciate any opinion. Thanks
A lot depends on how long this price war goes on and how low the oil price goes. I think Saudi could let it drop to about $10 for a period of time without worrying. UKOG cost per barrel is somewhere around $20. So basically how long could UKOG keeping going for if the oil price drops much more? Let's hope it doesn't.
Something doesn’t add up here. Iain Ross was executive chairman of silence therapeutics until 2010. He then moved to E-therapeutics as non-executive chairman. He has now moved back to Silence Therapeutic as a non-executive director and Chairman. As far as I can work out.
Ali Mortazavi was chief executive officer of Silence Therapeutics and is now executive chairman of E-Therapeutics.
If Iain Ross wasn’t good enough for E-Therapeutics why has he been taken back by Silence and why has he had such a positive welcome?
If E-Therapeutic was close to doing additional deals why would Iain move now? Wouldn’t he want to stay with E-Therapeutics and take the credit for any deals? I take it from the move that there are no near time deals being done or about to be done?
What does Ali bring to the party that is so much better than Iain?
Is this just jobs for the boys, jumping in and out of BOD positions with the benefit of receiving a golden hello’s with shares and or options at vastly discounted prices.
If Iain couldn’t move E-Therapeutic forward to a much more positive situation where the company was making loads of money why would Silence welcome him back?
It doesn’t make sense to me. Manipulation of various kinds springs to mind. Anyone able to shine a better light on this whole BOD shift?
I would suggest that anyone worried about their investment in Eurasia should watch the last interview with Dmitry Suschov, for the first time or again. He is a little difficult to understand in parts but if you listen carefully you'll get what he's saying. I think it's a very good interview and if you read between the lines he's giving out a lot of information. He is invested himself I think at a price of about 5p, I would say that it's more like his average because he started his investing in Eurasia in 2008 so I don't think it's a get rich quick scam.
This is being played by certain people or companies who know that actually there is not a lot in existence at the moment. By the time they manage to get certification, first quarter 2020, then build the first unit and field trial it, it will be what, June next year? It then has to go into production, another few months? So all this speculation and crazy prices are way too early in my opinion.
To me the price is being drive systematically up and down. Is it market makers or a co-ordinated manipulation by a group of professional traders. Nice little earner if you're in the know.
You can't beat these people so in my opinion the best thing to do after carrying out due diligence and buying is to sit tight and wait for your selected exit price. Trading for an amateur is very risky.
Found this very enlightening. Sorry if already posted.

stockdale. Thanks for the reply. I would have thought for everyone funding would be an important issue to understand. I know they've said they will self fund. But what happened to this agreement I wonder, are Sinosteel now out of the picture?
I get the impression that this is being followed blindly by many. Very dangerous not to know as much as possible about the full picture.
Does anyone really understand the following contractual details mentioned in the 13th August RNS and what happened to that deal?
"A Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract, with an associated mine finance package has been signed with Chinese company Sinosteel. Eurasia and its contractors are making progress on the production preparation activities stipulated by the EPC as TGK's (Eurasia's 80% subsidiary) responsibilities to initiate the payments from Sinosteel to TGK under the subcontracted works for the total amount of $50m, $26.5m of which will be paid by TGK to Sinosteel, as TGK's contribution equity contribution to the EPC (the remaining $149.5m is a 10 year loan facility at 6mLIBOR + 3.5%)".
