What a load of bo____ks. That's just a load of anti-EU propaganda. it just shows that the EU comprises of 27 functioning democracies whose leaders have a legal responsibility to do whatever they can to protect their citizens. You've undermined you're own case by including Switzerland, Norway, and the UK in being equal victims of national politics. The biggest culprit is globalisation as countries are encouraged to focus on what they do best and let other countries
make things such as face masks. Ironically if the EU were stronger and had a sole leader then these problems would be much reduced
It's a far cry from a few years ago when then number $120m for circum was being talked on this board.
My preference would be to buy back shares - how many billions of shares could be how back! This would bring the SP back to something sensible. Naturally GR doesn't do the sensible thing...
How can this company be listed as it's not a PLC? Also, by looking at the number shares the directors own - 620m, which is about £285m worth - where is the space for SEA to own 97%? If what's on here represents the 3% then the company are worth how much? AIM has a requirement for a company to have at least 25% of the shares to be in free float. I'm not sure what is going on with this share...
I was going to say that it's more telling that Woodford has bought in but then I noticed that your question was asked before that RNS was published
Do you think you can get the price back to 2.8p Treacle? ;)
I put a tenner on this yesterday. now i'm rich ;)
was that before 8am? it could've been the MMs coming on line - there doesn't appear to be any trades at that price
Or at least the first clear buy for a long time!
From last RNS: "The sale of Drinkmaster Limited, the Group's in-cup hot beverage packing business based in Cornwall, is progressing well with a number of offers having been received. These offers will be progressed over the next two months." Two months almost nearly up - may be there's a few speculative buys hoping for news on this front?
and wonder how many are buys, whose buying, and whether Boris continues to buy up on the cheap. He's got all the time in the world to buy this company for peanuts
Don't know what to think of this share. The price would either suggest there's a high risk that the deal won't come off or that it's likely the price offered will be on the low side. It's probably a combination of both. I keep thinking Boris is only interested in getting a very low price and isn't in a rush to get this. If this doesn't go though on Weds/Thurs and the price crashes again then I'm sure we'll see another batch of large buys.
Not sure exactly what you mean but Russians use Cyprus as a way of tax avoidance/money laundering - at least they did until everyone was taxed for virtually everything over 100,000 euros! BTW one of those 16.45p 'sells' this morning was a buy from me.
The real question is was the £62k a buy or sell and why?
stupid question but if Uvenco make a firm bid that must include a specific bid price right?
Anyone understand what this is about? PUBLIC DEALING DISCLOSURE BY AN EXEMPT PRINCIPAL TRADER WITH RECOGNISED INTERMEDIARY STATUS DEALING IN A CLIENT-SERVING CAPACITY Rule 8.5 of the Takeover Code (the "Code")
In that case I hope you loaded up on the cheap price over Christmas???? I'd have done but got MARL & UJO instead!
don't know about the long time as the annoucement did say talks were at an early stage but at the same time the bid must be confirmed by no later than 5pm on 19/2/14 so it could feasibly finish sooner - fingers crossed sooner at 40p :)
Am I the only person that can see the v. weird share trades? No one else appears to have mentioned it. The last one is 30,315.51, so about £303 per share. You others must see it too right? It's not a big deal as they all seem to cancel each other out :s ... but I haven't seen that before!
Obvously 25p-ish is at a nice premium to the what the SP has been at for quite a while but don't forget that the major shareholders will need to realise a huge loss and if SNAK are turning themselves around then they will probably get more of a premium later. So the price has to be high enough for the loss making majors to want to turn their hand. It could be 25p but may be higher
Yeah I did pick that up at somepoint but then I also read on Friday that website that Goldman Sachs have a price target on CLON of 95p, being currently 1.35p, so I had assumed it was a hoax website.
