**buy at 15.3p, not 15.13p
But on rumour, sell on news? I just managed to get a tranche at 15.13p. I'm very happy about this but the price is moving in the wrong direction atm
Think WWI - 4 years of gridlock
Where does it say 90m profit? Are we talking about Turkish Lira? In the half year results it is stated "First ever operating profit in H1 2022 of $15k vs $0.7m operating loss in H1 2021"
I think the instant 30% profit had something to do with it
Supposedly #ThickLizzie is more gung-ho for this budget that #KrazyKwateng so you can forget her sacking him. The only way out is for the Torys to kick both out. There are whispers that they aren't going to do that due to the embarrassment of having so many different leaders recently but they'll have to weigh up which is worse
They're never going to find out and if a story leaks they wouldn't believe it anyway
Tbf even at this price there's a theoretical 40% yield so even if the shares are delisted and you can't sell them then you'd get your money back on 2.5 years in dividends and pour profits are that. Unless you're a monster of a trader you'd be hard pressed to beat that it
I'm sure that a number of Hedge Funds are weighing the risk and rewards and see what good value POLY is right now, even if it's just the value of the Kazakhstan assets - any Russian assets would be a bonus!
*buy back
A 90% discounted share but back is a wet dream for Warren Buffet types
Does anyone know how Index Trackers work? If the MAR-CAP of a company reduces then surely it's weight of an index reduces accordingly? So as the value of POLY reduces presumably the index trackers start to sell down their positions? If so then the outflows have already occurred...
Question:
We left the FTSE 100 and at the same time of going to the FTSE 250 we were told we're going to be deleted.
Is the risk of the trackers selling out from leaving the FTSE 100 or the FTSE 250? I can see that if the FTSE 100 trackers have sold out then the FTSE 250 trackers must have been bought almost simultaneously.
Also, I've read that tracker funds may sell £70m worth of shares, which is more than 10% of the share cap of POLY. I've also read that normally tracker funds typically only own about 1% of a company, being about £7m. Can anyone provide any clarity over this please?
There are thousands of them - never heard of the AIM market?
" Sadly pumping more weapons into Ukraine seems counter-productive to acheiving a peace deal."
On the contrary, these aren't enough: if they sent nukes to Ukraine then Russia would never invade again!
I didn't get the comment about Nato's aspirations since it was Ukraine's aspiration to join that was the problem, not the other way around

Putin is preparing chemical weapons, bringing in Syrian mercenaries, splitting the large convoy near Kyiv and preparing for a renewed assault on that city, still making unreasonable demands for a cease fire, and lying to everyone about everything. He's certainly not finished yet
What I don't get is that as RA can't sell any shares then the share price won't tank hence the SP will be more stable than if he were selling out at any price. I really don't see why trading has been suspended
Oh god the graph has gone **** shaped - we're all about to be ****ed
Lol, it's symptomatic of companies and countries having to choose between America and China! because of the 'H' and the 'S' HSBC don't have much of a chance, plus there's a ton of growth to be had with China for the foreseeable future
