I would have thought that Shell's tax rate of 75% was quite enough already.
As a shareholder, I hope they can offset taxes with costs associated with the business

I already give a lot of money to charity. The businesses that I invest in if making a profit pay corporation tax.
I take the risks and expect to receive any returns after relevant taxes are paid to come to me. I don't believe others should share in my risk taking where they have taken none .
