I have had a NatWest account since I was 16.
HSBC premier did not exist when I was 18, nor for that matter HSBC.
I joined Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation from which HSBC has derived the name . Only a small retail operation in the UK up until we took over Midland bank.
I was amongst the very first to have a HSBC premier account, as I was an HSBC InvestDirect account (formally MLHSBC for a short period.

I would easily qualify, but I have no need for such an account.
I am happy just having my HSBC premier account and a NatWest account that I have had since I was 16.

I worked from the age of 16 (zero money from a council estate) to 45 when I left HSBC.
Have been receiving an HSBC pension since the age of 50

Lloyds now about 4p above the investment level that Lloyds made in 2022.

There are always provisions - 9 month 2022 provisions were offset by about £400 million I think with write backs from C19.
I would like to see a £1 Billion provision made in February.

The likes of BP will be paying a tax rate of 75% on it's north sea operations for a number of years. What do you think the tax rate should be?.

The smaller north sea operators could come under pressure in the near future due to tax burdens.

Investors maybe waking up to the fact that HSBC will be receiving a large sum from its sale of it's Canadian operations later this year.

HSBC is my biggest holding in my portfolio.
Today's sale represented about 2% of my shares.

I bought at about £3 and under 290p in September 2020 and a number times at higher levels since. Prior to today, my last sale was also at over 550p on 3rd Feb 2022.
I still have 'excess' shares to sell at higher levels.
I will always have HSBC shares.
I have been a shareholder for many years having worked at HSBC for many years.
I now receive a very good pension from HSBC.

I would like to see an amount that would represent 'front loading' of provisions as we had with C19 - a large amount of which got written back.

the markets look forward, not back - Tesco exited it's Asian operations about 2 years ago - now more streamlined.
I bought at about 207p only a few months ago when you also had a negative view - I am happy with the 15% increase in share price so far since then.

at over 553p the shares I bought at under 440p on 25th Oct 2022
