That is fine if the number of people wanting a guess (to win) and willing only to pay £10 matches the number of 1p slots of a realistic eoy price range, but not if there were twice as many such people as there are slots. I thought the idea was to maximise potential donations to charity. Also further potential donations maybe denied from not allowing 2 guesses which a half pence guess at same cost would help in providing.

If I were setting the rules, which I am not - only giving an opinion and reasons- I would allow 2 entries per person with half penny guesses at same donation level- no duplicates . As I have said, a 1p gap is big on a 47p stock. Realistically the eoy price should fall within a fairly narrow range involving not too many 1p gaps (guesses).

would you not get more entries if you had half Pence guesses at £10 as well? - maybe people also would like more than one guess and having more price levels at £10 may help

you post so much nonsense on here and are also constantly flip flopping on you BP share price view.- Rosneft stake has been written down to zero in the books creating a Q1 2022 loss, and so therefore is not fully reflected in the current market valuation of BP, and probably not at all.
If a value is written back in (thereby increasing BP's market valuation) because of an offer to purchase the stake, the proceeds could if the BOD so wished, be paid out to shareholders and maintaining a pre offer market cap, or if the proceeds were retained, this would increase the market cap from a pre offer date .
