a low share price whilst Lloyds are conducting share repurchases is mainly disappointing to those investors who are not happy with the current total 10% + returns being made by Lloyds including a probable forward yield of 5.5% + and wish only to get out of Lloyds at a higher acceptable price, so that they can pursue an alternative investment that they see as better.
Some cannot bring themselves to sell out at below cost to switch to an alternative though.
It wouldn't bother me personally, how long the share price remained at a level well below NAV whilst Billions of shares are being repurchased and cancelled.
