Lloyds is one of only a small number of banks in the UK - thousands in USA.
Lloyds earns very good money with deposits at the BOE so cannot see how holding more would reduce margins.
If investors want to re-evaluate on such things and also the 'what if' a big windfall tax is imposed on banks, then that is up to them, but speculation is not part of my investment decision making.
