Even after going 'ex rights' it is still just a little below the share price as at near the start of October.

NG was one of many stocks to have fallen back last week from recent highs.

The first drop simply put it back to last months price per share, so obviously no concern there is there?. The second fall was as a result of going 'ex rights' so once again, no concern there is there?.

only half the capital spend is earmarked for the UK and also, they already make large capital yearly spends- the £60 Billion forward spend is simply a step up, driving up asset growth.

No uncertainty in my mind - electricity usage is set to soar by 50% in the coming years. NG gets paid for the amount of usage of its network, so yes the investment will reap rewards, and yes it is guaranteed to get a return on investment - it is a monopoly.

NG has been a good investment for me - zero sleepless nights about it.

NG cannot be compared with BT.

NG will be streamlining, with future asset sales to become a pure transmissions business. Investment is being made for the future extra transmission capacity requirements that will be required , for example to accommodate further uptake of electric cars not to mention the ever increasing numbers in population/property.

Every households electricity bill will have an element that pays for the building and maintenance of the transmission network. NG is a monopoly in the UK.

You are dreaming - i have only bought at under £6 once and that was about 14 years ago.

This is NOT much of a roller coaster stock . It is a steady as you go stock - never had any concerns holding this in my portfolio over many years.

I was in the situation of having the full number of shares that I wanted to keep long term (no more sales) but obviously I will be topping up now in the RI.

up about 50 points from this morning - currently only bout 160 points off of an all time intraday high.

Glad that I continued with large top up's in the market when a 1,000 + points lower.

Cash position a little over 10% now after some recent sales and large dividend payments -Will try to get it back to 10%, but preferable lower it the coming months.

Will not fall until August at the very earliest.

Unless Core and services inflation which are still on the high side continue to fall in the next couple of months then that could push out the first cut even further.
