It is called 'gearing'. The current share price is the current share price. The 'nil paids' are a completely seperate entity and as I have said geared against the share price.

We have had a number of stock market down days recently, coming off of all time highs - simple.

I would not have given it much thought, but 'Tail swallowing' to reduce maximum new total holdings when rights taken up?

I also do not concern myself with the short term price movements, due to investor re positioning because of the rights issue, creating lower EPS from day 1 meaning changes in the technical's affecting price levels driven by algos.

What matters to me is the longer term benefit of the investments that are being made that will then drive up EPS and increase asset values.

I will be taking up my rights in full, which will cost me a lot of money.

What is a fact is that the market values NG on a daily basis. If you had been a shareholder you would know that the share price is continuously fluctuating , and now is no different. In the pre xr period of about the previous 2 years the share has been over £12 and lower than today's post xr price.

Seek attention elsewhere

The calling of the GE on results day meant no early base rate cut - now August at the very earliest but maybe not even then. This has resulted in sterling increasing against the dollar from about 1.235 on the 23rd to the current pushing towards 1.28. This obviously affects dollar earning stocks such as NG.
