''I wasn't trying to be smart, I was just pointing out your obvious need to impress people''
Once again - incorrect - get your head straight.
The fact is because your analysing of situations, the latest being NG, where you said that sentiment had changed against NG and that about 600p per share may soon be seen, and then my correcting you on the situation, you simple do not like it. THAT is the problem behind your continuous juvenile posts.highlighting what in your head you see as 'boasting' where in fact it is another example of just the way you like to see things. You tried to then belittle my further investment in the NG rights issue, where I had not given any specific investment amount, by saying that you would be more impressed if it had been six figure sum to which you got an appropriate response.
'' You project yourself as having superior knowledge and opinion's, arguing with others who have a different point of view''
Once again (your dementia problem again ) you must learn to know the difference between an opinion and the facts of a situation. You have simply had to be corrected on things like share buybacks and recently a rights issue. You should be grateful to someone who has gone to the trouble to correct your misconceptions, rather than not liking the fact that your lack of knowledge has been highlighted, resulting in these juvenile posts of yours
''The share buyback vs divi's argument on the Lloyds forum is a classic example of your ego in action''
'ego' ? -Once again'in your head' .
My opinion as I have said many many times is that Lloyds buybacks conducted at very attractive valuations would be a good benefit to long term shareholders, which would contribute to an eventual dividend return than otherwise have been the case.
''you defend Nunn's post covid dividend cut as if your life depends on it''
why is it that things need repeating to you over and over and over again?.
A reset from a Covid hit economic situation with a resulting crash in share price was the cautious and sensible thing to do. The policies put in place will enable greater dividend returns to be made in the future as would otherwise have been the case . My life DID NOT depend upon the policies put in place.
In the case of Vodafone, I said a long time ago that that dividend should be cut and that capital should be re directed to buybacks at low pricing levels. That was my opinion and it has come about. Others may not have wanted buybacks.
You seem to learn NOTHING from your continuous juvenile posts on a few different boards -You really MUST try to stop - they simply smack of jealousy and you not liking the pointing out your misconceptions.
