good that you may want to talk up a stock you have just bought - Vodafone did have about an 11% yield before being cut in half.

I personally do not include dividends when determining a current loss/gain position.

btw I bought LGEN at 208p in October, without any prediction of that financials future price and I certainly wouldn't have predicted 2 financials, Lgen and Lloyds going in opposition directions - no logic. Can happen for extraordinary reasons but not based on any known logic.

I personally made a sale recently at about 78p.

Base rate reductions are coming about a lot slower than was expected a number of months ago. Some stocks are more affected by interest rates than others.

Vodafone are allocating a total of 4 Billion Euro over the next couple of years investing in Vodafone shares for the benefit of long term shareholders.
