''As a fellow iii investor, to what level do you assume the huge short against 3i will drag us down too?''
I am not aware of a short on 3i Group.
We do know though that it trades at a very big premium which of course leaves the share price open to a large fall if the expected growth in 'Action' does not materialise.
Apart from that, there is always going to be step backwards in share price along the way. It is currently about 160p off of the all time high, but as it is a heavyweight share price isn't a great deal.
As you know I went into a very good profit when I unfortunately sold an amount in 2016. As the remaining are for 'free' (and now worth quite a bit) I will probably just sit on them - you never know they may find another 'Action' which could of course be floated in its own right in the future.
''Just one of my better lucky investments, from £3k to £90, so obviously concerned .''
If your current holding is worth £90k you must have invested more than £3k.
It is never wrong to take a bit off the table, as i did .
I only have 5,000 shares left out of the original 20,000 purchased (shame)
