''Get a real bank ''
Why is HSBC a real bank but Lloyds not?
Fakey
''It's not Worth holding at the current price based on the value of the div''
Forward 2024 yield will be about 6% at the current price, and in addition about a further 6% is being returned via a share buyback.
Try thinking

I m not aware that India/P a k i s tan etc etc etc etc etc are being swamped with the English . The British left behind democracy + +
MV
''but the 80+% no where near accurate.''
Correct - no where near.
Even Ireland is beginning to be swamped.
As for Scotland - not many immigrants/boat people want to go there.
DCB is an Irish gypsy currently living in a caravan in Spain.
DCB
Once again - immigrants would not see themselves as English because THEY ARE NOT (like you), but they would British because of having the passport.
You are confused DCB - immigrants obtain ' British' passports.
DCB
Only 58% born in England - of those 58% I imagine the vast majority had parents, grand parents not born in England, meaning only a small amount with English heritage - I am afraid the whole of England id going the same way.
Those of us who are English (not you DCB) will soon be the tiny minority in not too many years to come.
There are simply not enough sellers of Lloyds shares
DCB
''I have to start filtering, a few individuals again on here!''
Why not start with yourself - you did so with your previous 100+ ID's , what is so special about your current ID. name?

''Ripping off the tax payer in housing benefits is totally wrong ''
What I have already posted doesn't appear to have sunk in.
I repeat - Lloyds and people investing in Lloyds are not ripping off the taxpayer.
JUST complain about the benefits system being too generous if you must.
It is the population that vote in a government and it's policies.
Join the taxpayers alliance.

''the likely ban of people born from 2009''
stupid and unworkable . can you imagine in the future, a 69 year old man asking his 70 year old mate, to purchase some ***s for him - it is laughable.

''what you think the SP will go to short term? ''
I never think short term, only to when the market will eventually value a business (in this case BATS) at a more realistic valuation ( and not at a way way way undervaluation) - time to do that is immaterial with the fantastic dividends.
Fakey
Unfortunately I currently have a couple of laggards in my portfolio -
I am waiting for skier1 to go on the relevant boards to trash the stocks - it works wonders.
I am sure this couple will come good at some point
Fakey
I don't call making your numerous losses on SB's as spot on, and I don't call your prediction of a 34.5p share price in 2023 as spot on , now rolled over into 2024.
Less than 9 months to go to see if you can get another attempt at being 'spot on'
Fakey
Yes, but completely irrelevant - what is relevant is my average LBG price
Fakey
you got out of your real or fake SB with only about a £1,000 fake or real loss, which was opened and closed at about the same price.
The current price to open a sell is now about 0.7 higher than your previous one.
fakey
''the sp will hit 34.5p during 2024''
you are good for a laugh
Brix
maybe you also think it relevant if I said that I sold some Halifax shares for over £10 per share
Brix
What has Lloyds and Lloyds TSB share prices got to do with LBG ?
Do you not understand the relationship between a share price and the number of shares in issue - clueless
Any purchases I have made that became part of LBG are incorporated in my average price of 20.57p
Brix
No one has paid a £1 for LBG shares - just shows how little you know, but then again you have never had any lloyds shares.
You certainly cannot lose much on your Metro bank investment - the capital value has probably only gone down about £75 since you purchased?

I am looking forward to my largest dividend of the year - the HSBC final next week, but this year it will be matched in June by the HSBC quarterly dividend + 'special'.
Enjoy watching your cash grow by 4% after 12 months - how long do you think you will have to wait for your market crash?
