Has anyone picked up any rhetoric from Clinton , Trump or their teams about online gambling control in USA.? This seems to wax and wayne (USA spelling - bad joke of morning) with sp.
Glad I kept the Regenersis shares all these years. I note that Mat Peacock made a substantial purchase (100K shares) in last few months and optimistic trading outlook so hopefully good news in 21 days.
Just Brexit nerves I guess. The Institutions and retail fund industry have a lot to answer for. I hope your (and the intitutions') analysis of the business model is correct. I would feel happier with a more broadly based model, and may take some profits when the sp recovers.
Matt, I agree, but when we just use a specialist free program like Privazer to delete data which can be done by their Corporate IT Data departments, why do they need Blancco to do it? I guess I may be retired too long to understand modern corporate processes, but deletion of data appears to be a simple process without too many barriers for entry.
Ahhh - thanks. Lets hope all their confidence is not misplaced. Deleting data seems rather a narrow field open to others. I will be looking for further diversification.
Hi Matt, Thanks, I misunderstood. Looking at the Company announcements I thought all those institutions (M&G etc) had bought shares. e.g the "Notification of Major Interest in Shares" form seems to indicate that NFU Mutual cross the threshold >3% of shares. Not clear to me then whether it is buy or sell . Perhaps one needs to get more used to looking at those forms which seem obscure to say the least .
Am a longterm holder of RGS and I was concerned also. No news announcements but a big drop, more than can be explained by ex-div.. Someone may know something we dont.! The institutions who paid 2.40 cant be very happy. Lets hope this does not end badly.
Can anyone advise if GBO is now recognised by HMRC as zero value , so can be used as tax loss for this financial year ?
I am not complaining! Glad I bought this highly rated Company also. Trading in line with forecast. However the question is how much more value does this SP leave?
@ IgglyBiggly Many thanks for explaining that.
Am confused by equivalence of price. Current price is £2.92. If that is multiplied by 5/3 to reflect extra share issue it comes to £4.86. Looking on my account though thef present value is (2.92 + rights price 1.25) = £4.17. Could someone help and explain how this is calculated? Thanks.
Thanks oldabutnowisa. I wish I had waited a few days, unfortunately I topped up at 220p.. Luckily the prospects seem good and I may get a few more in the dip as do not have an excessive amount and tend to invest for the long term where possible. Illustrates the risks of short term trading. Why is it we tend to think there is something wrong with a Company when the share price dips? All about knowledge and confidence I guess.
Looks like you are right! Glad I sold.
I wish it was not so darn complicated. Do I gather from your value calculations below that it is probably a good idea to take up the rights issue? Would appreciate comments Thanks
Can some explain please why if NCC makes an earnings enhancing acquisition the share price goes down? Thanks
Perhaps the share price just drifted down before because of lack of news. Glad I have held on to these shares despite the volatility. It seemed to me to be a good sector to be in, particularly as this company was developing a radioactive waste division. Profits and earnings have been on a steadily increasing trend, despite the low valuation.
Not the best news today, glossed over by the Chairman. Potentially good company , hurt by strong sterling and oil crash, wrong part of cycle, perhaps one to watch in future ?. Bargain at this price?
