$GLND $$$$🚀⬆️16 Jan 2026 07:21
Ok the single biggest event in the next few trading days is the $GLND Nasdaq listing imminently.
What are we thinking GLND will start trading at in US$ the minute the Nasdaq bell rings? This will be the REAL price driver!!
My guess on the US Nasdaq
Open - Jump to $12-15 on the bell
Mid day - steady rise to $20
Close $25++
This is the "Golden Ratio" calculation. If $GNLD closes at $25 on its first day, we aren't just guessing anymore—we are using the mathematical valuation set in the merger documents.
Here is exactly how that $25.00 US price forces the UK price to move:
1. The Mathematical Anchor
The merger agreement between Pelican and March GL specifically valued the 70% stake in the Jameson project at roughly $215 Million (based on a $10 share price).
• At a $10 share price, 80 Mile's 30% stake was officially valued at $92 Million.
• If the share price hits $25, that valuation is multiplied by 2.5x.
2. The New Valuation of 80 Mile’s Stake
• Original Valuation (@ $10): $92,000,000
• New Valuation (@ $25): $230,000,000
• In British Pounds: At the current exchange rate (~1.34), that is £171.6 Million.
3. The Implied Share Price for 80 Mile
80 Mile has 4.967 Billion shares in issue. If the value of their Jameson stake alone is £171.6 Million:
• Implied Price: £171,600,000 / 4,967,000,000 = 3.45p
• Current Price: 0.94p
• The Gap: The stock would be undervalued by 267%.
BUT
The "Hidden Bonus" (The X-Factor)
The calculation above only values the 30% Jameson stake. It gives zero value to the rest of the company, which includes:
1. Disko-Nuussuaq (100% owned): The massive nickel/copper/PGE project.
2. Dundas Ilmenite (100% owned): The world-class titanium project.
3. The Biofuels Platform: Their Italian assets.
The Reality: In a "hot" market, when people see the Jameson stake is worth 3.45p, they will realize they are getting the rest of the multi-billion-dollar Greenland portfolio for free. This usually leads to a "premium," likely pushing the 80 Mile price toward 5p - 6p!!
