The last couple of days First Group seems to have seen a nice little rise. They had some really iffy financials and a bad outlook when compared to NEX, once this share is discovered I really feel it will rise nicely. I must admit, the wait is killing me though.

Sorry I'm new to this, but it seems massively oversold and the change from the pre-covid price seems disproportionate. Was there a rights issue recently which reduced the price from 170ish or is the huge drop purely market sentiment?

That's the way I read it too. That's awful and is surely not allowed?

Thank you all. I know this is an amazing stock so I'm not panicking as thankfully I don't need to sell, but it's frustrating to see it drop when all logic points to a rise

Thank you. This would probably have saved me a few issues in the past. So if it's sell activity then you know that's likely the next ceiling and buy activity indicates the next resistance if there is a fall?

How do you know where the resistance is please?

Imagine if this reacted like Tesla does when an analyst sets a price target, NEX eould be worth more than double where it is now in a day

I imagine this will really upset my evil step brother and his fellow shorters. It doesn't just show how cinema can adapt to stay relevant and ahead of the streaming giants, but it also shows how they are prepared to invest to do so. It should go towards relieving some of the niggling concerns the shorters keep trying to play on around the financial viability of Cineworld.

This article indicates there is still hope for a vaccine this year. Given Cine have already said they have enough liquidity until next year, hopefully this will help give those losing their nerve some confidence not to sell out now

This does seem like just a rehash of old stories, maybe someone at the Sun fancies getting into Boohoo shares too and wants to try and lower their entry point?

I think that's the CEO who's leaving and from previous comments it seems Directors have a period where they can't trade prior to the release of results so I think it's all fine.

Sorry, I'm still not getting this. If we've got a huge investor gulping up the spare shares aren't those people letting their holding go doing themselves a huge disservice? If people stop selling but the demand is there the price they offer should increase right?

Thank you, I wondered where people got that detail from. I was involved with Cineworld when it was heavily shorted and dropped massively so I really didn't fancy going through that again. To have a green day when almost everything else is in the red makes me excited for Monday

Does anyone know the shorter position on national express? I only ask because there seemed to be quite a lot of resistance at 150 trying to keep the price in the red and I wondered if that was deliberate?

Surely this can only happen if people stop selling? Today some people were obviously happy to sell at 50p and above (there or there abouts) so this is almost a get out of jail free card for a shorter isn't it?
