You really using this site to update you on the price? ??
Rkh went from 12p to circa £4.50 on successful drill and oil discovery and that was in the south Falklands basin so much harsher conditions to drill in.
Seems there is either a huge seller or buyer in this market, everyday the SP sits rigid at the same price, I appreciate we are in a waiting period now for this to kick off (nov/dec) just seems odd that there is no fluctuation in price regardless of what the wider market is doing.
Also seems to not be affected by wider market moves I.e on big down days it's stays put on big up days doesn't trend up. Definitely feels like it's being controlled currently, again I'd imagine there is either a large seller or buyer in the market.
For the last week it has seemed to sit at the exact same price 2.68 /3.02 Definitely something going on, accumulation of larger positions at that specific price is my guess but keen to hear others views.
Day traders will be selling into the close but the recent price suppression was to do with this deal that has just been announced, Cleary the path ahead is positive for BPC, in 6 months these prices will seem ridiculous.
Of course? That's the name of the game here isn't it? Making money, there will be plenty of rises and also big pullbacks as this stage of the story unfolds, hats off to anyone banking 10,20 30% profits all good ????
What's their "few billion" dollars worth if they find nothing?
Perhaps they will be drilling for hand sanitizer instead? Probably more value than oil currently?
Nobody wants to see this happen but I'm afraid this was obvious for the last few weeks now with the way this global situation has escalated. In for a very long haul with this now and I'd not even like to put a timeframe going forward. Sorry to those that have lost on this best of luck to all moving forward. LW.
Sad that you can't see we are heading for the cliff edge.
You'll believe though once they have to suspend the markets.
You have seen that DoW futures are at limit down currently? Dropped 1100 points overnight?
Where do we think this could go to? I’m thinking 1.5p but do we think 1p ? Not a de-ramp just trying to work out opinion. I know the upside is 10p/20p/30p etc big where could this theoretically go to?
Nothing holding these markets up currently, 6 weeks ago this would have seen BPC over 6p now we are staring down the barrel of global lockdown and a severe recession. Dow gonna tank on open. Race to the bottom, hedge funds are locking funds down as we speak due to redemptions. No upward movement till the workforce’s can get back to work. Best of luck to all holders of this and every share, we are all gonna need it.
Of where this is going take a look at the VIX it’s at 70 as I write, I've only ever seen it that high in 2009 and that was before a global recession followed. This is WAY bigger than that event. And I’m not even specifically talking about this share, I’m talking marketwide this is major bad news. BPC is exactly what it was before - a great opportunity to make a big return but as it stands now nobody and I mean nobody cares about that. Everyone is running for cover. Hold tight all, this is about to get nasty.
Imagine what would happen when they reopened, it would be a straight line down as everyone pulled out their cash. This is the name of the game. At this point : ALL BETS ARE OFF. And the markets are going lower too believe me, this is the start of a huge downward spiral. When America shuts for lockdown it’s game over.
Eh? Ok mate, whatever. :-)
Thanks for the condescending words, don’t like being right in this instance but it was obvious it was going this way today. 2.4p mid price currently.
Hate to say it but low 2p’s on the cards today I think, love to be wrong but we are teetering on global shutdown.
Someone knew something ahead of time methinks. Dreadful RNS. Couldn’t have been released at a worse time.
