I do not wish to spend more time on this but the lawyers work for Panthera and the final word, vying for the best interest of shareholders, remains with the company. As I said, I think it's completely irrelevant in the larger realm of things. As the deadline approaches, I am inclined to think it'll not be delayed as by now the company has a much clearer picture of where it stands. My suggestion is not to underestimate the complexity of the submission and the role that the company plays. This is not a simple "send it to the lawyers" case.

If delayed I assume the company will inform the market as being material. If not, we'll know what the SOC is most likely on Friday.

It can be delayed.

It may be that the SOC is delayed a week or so. In any case the company must inform the market. As Gall sagely stated, we are one day closer every day. If it's late, it's undoubtedly for good reason. Irrelevant.

This number is obviously much lower than the full claim, so when one looks at historical data of percentage of claim it's an apples and oranges comparison.

Stricty speakih the number is a bit higher than £2 so that is already contemplated.

Even if this is a bit of an exhausted topic let me throw a few numbers around: claim is US$ 2 billion, minus 15% for LCM, adjusted for pounds, 50% award and 80% chance of winning gives a round £2.

I think it would move towards 50p.

So a country ilegally expropriates your property and after a long period of time gets to pay back a fraction of its value. If that is the case, what would stop suco behavior? No payment for time or punitive damages?

In spite of the fact that I am a big believer in this story:

1. SOC is not coming this week

2. hype is begining to flourish

I have been trying to add to my position but it's been quite hard to...seems like we may be on the cusp of a rise...

@Gall Settling will be essentially a political decision. The GOI, so far at least, doesn't seem to be that concerned with its reputation with foreign investors. No major operates in India, the potential buyers for our assets were not top notch. They auctioned off something that was under litigation. It may come to a settlement but I wouldn't put a high probability on it.

As far as I know all material information must be disclosed in a timely fashion. Keep in mind that all the arbitration proceedings are confidential and hence the company will disclose essentially immediately what is material to the market.

PAT has acted exceptionally well given market gyrations and especially the fact that there was a reasonably large raise recently at 7p.

Apparently the Sing investor is not done yet but doesn't seem to be in a hurry.

As the markets get tougher, I'd not be surprised if some shares com back.

LCM stock price is pathetic and it reflects its recent arbitration loss in London. They are currently raising their third fund.
