The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Could someone advice me, while reading through backdated rns filings, the copper production is run at a loss, the run rate is at around double digit loss on net profit. Why is the company producing copper and selling at a loss.
I havent invested but find it difficulty to understand what is going on...
“Is extremely disappointing and won’t seem to be changing much to rectify this?
Sell the iron ore
Sell the lithium
Push forwards on the gold
Why are they not doing this?“
This is not their plan. This is what we shareholders would reasonably like them to do but the board has not committed itself to this plan
Any expectation is unreasonable. The price will fall if many have this expectation but don’t see us going in the direction
Even if the company have to do what you suggest it will take a long time to do any of the above
Gold will need first jorc, we haven’t even drilled all for jorc
Iron will need a very big player
Lithium is again probably 2022 story, at the moment no one wants it. I don’t see a lot of deals for lithium
Because of the hedge with BP, NTOG did quite well with crude prices now higher and possibly nearer to return of normalcy.
What are the chances of sp going back to pre covid and possibly higher ?
I think good, have added to what I had
Thank you for that article, I first read it way back in 2012...but I do agree there is still a lot of catching up to do

Why cant they introduce a lock in period or raise through primary bid as more retail investors can participate
Anyone who subscribed to placing bought at 17 and are quickly turning a profit of 10% for a day or holding and free riding warrants
Using the apartment analogy, you have to compare it to the entire building project not just an apartment
Most builders will buy the land which works more than 50pc cost of the project with building construction on it financed by bank loans
Any construction finance is provided upto 70% of END VALUE not construction cost
I assume you haven’t worked in finance. We are not taking about *selling* software and hardware
The skill set required are completely different for a resources company that involves costing and is more suited to someone from manufacturing background who would know how costing works
Good luck on your purchases
I am invested as well but this last appointment threw me off
How will appointing a CFO from healthcare background help the management team to makes its GREAT transition :) Couldnt they find someone who has worked with a resources company before. Incompetent board.
"My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 4 years ago if this can get to 20p I can retire and spend more time at home
Oh and new Ferrari
Good luck all have a great weekend"
You did a dummy buy and were quoted 20p, you should have done a dummy sell ...
This is a gold producing company however inspite of rising gold prices they have made a LOSS !!
Why ?
What is the 142m valuation for - even after the fall it looks expensive
I have not bought here yet, probably missed most of the run however I was watching level 2 quite closely. Today there is a huge order of around £125K purchase
CHAR seems to have got a temporary funding source from 2 companies, one of which will probably be firm. Other than that is there any other news that is expected here.
Looks like a lot of orders are going through
I understand the size of resource is immense but in terms of news, what are we expecting next ?
Sorry I am a bit new to delt although I had an account for a long time I did not know about delt
Saw the rns and looks like good value play
Cash in bank is around £13m as per half yearly report published in June 2020 and the company is trading at around that price, so is trading at the price of cash in books
What am I missing, there is only got to be upside to that based on drilling by Shell ?
I know ther are in talks for Lithium sales as per Vincent interview, dont know when t will hit but its coming sooner than later.
Historically IRR needs 2 updates, back to back
The first one usually always gets rid of short term holders, the second within 2-3 days give it a rise
We should get some update about lithium sale very soon now that the short term holders are out
If they sell Ghana everyone will realise how cheap this company is available for
Processed lithium is usd 5800 per ton
So let’s say un processed lithium in mine is 10 usd per ton, that’s the absolute least one should get
Jorc says Ghana has 14 mt, that’s like 140m usd
It’s way above what the company is trading at
And this is by far the very worst assumption for just one asset, forgetting gold at other 2 zaranau and other
Vincent alluded that they are in discussion to sell lithium assets, even if they close at usd 2 per ton, it’s going to be huge
I am not very good at calculations but back of envelope looks very promising
If someone can find it’s not accurate I’d like to know as I am looking to put a bit more here
Thanks
Kodal is great
Exited and now Invested from lower levels
Another stock with huge Lithium assets which counts Sumitomo, the company that Warren Buffet recently invested in is Ironridge
Sumitomo also makes batteries for Panasonic that supply Tesla batteries as well as Sumitomo directly supplies to Toyota
Toyota also Indirectly owns Ironridge via Sumitomo
Due to ongoing covid and lithium weakness, Ironridge is another great Lithium resource stock to watch
Both kodal and Ironridge are at the cusp of benefiting multi year bull run on lithium ion batteries
Happy for all short term holders who could exit today at a profit and for long term holders who got a chance to pick some at these levels
Anyone who wants to accumulate will get a good chance to do as short term I think irr is testing 14-16 region
