Some sensible posting this morning. If people are under the illusion that AM has been given a token role, think again. He doesn't give a monkey's what his title is, he's a 40year experienced oil man, and his motivation is to close up the JV, and add to the billion barrels by proving that previously non extractable oil is extractable using innovative means. That is what get's him out of bed in the morning. That's his true vocation.

In the same way he doesn't give a monkey's what the current SP is. He knows what's coming. People underestimate him, and that again will be a motivation. This is his legacy play. You don't survive 40 years in this industry by failing. Think about it.

On another matter, and regardless what side of the fence you're on, there were no bids for the UK 'wind farm' initiative. What does that tell you. Maybe not particularly relevant as COPL are in the USA. They do have oil for the next 40 years however. Just saying. Ignore the trolls, they're clutching at straws now. GLALTH

It's really very basic AM is replaced by John Cowan as CEO, no need to be at a loss. Don't over think it Wookie, anyone would think you have an agenda. Think of all that OIL, that's the driver. OIL

Significant and very positive RNS that (clearly lost on the usual paid trolls for professional reasons). That's a bit more than a reshuffle, with AM retaining his legacy play until the inevitable T/O, no rush.

Production is still key. But the moving parts are only heading one way on that aspect. Debt was built up to get us to this stage, we're now looking at a new company. Not much talk about all that oil COPL have, not to mention lifespan, CC etc. Patience still needed, agreed, but this stock will be going places very soon imho. GLALTH

Never in doubt. I think there’s so much more going on that we don’t have a clue about. AM has certainly not panicked on this one. Slowly, slowly….let them have a nibble of the monkey, and let COPL keep the ‘deep’ in reserve for now. Still early days, but a handsome pick up in production after GG installation will lay the foundation further, and strengthen COPLs hand. The worm is turning….GLALTH

Imho AM is the answer to that. I think he’ll willingly entertain offers in 24-36 months, when COPL will on the balance of probability be mid-cap, with an established OIP of anything between 300mb and ??. It’s a legacy play for him, he’ll wait for 50p SP at least before relinquishing outright control. GLALTI and please don’t feed pavlov’s dogs
