Anyone that says “tourism will never be the same again” it’s a joke. If there is one worldwide mode of transport that is a necessity it is air travel. Easyjet have consistently had 80 flights plus in the air this week. That is about 80% of Ryanair so I would like to see a decent seat occupancy, with the sale and lease back and the recent placing, easyjet is a value share. No ifs no buts. Will it be cheaper? Possibly. Will it be higher- well I have backed it, so in my mind it is a yes. Let’s see the cash burn come the quarterly results on Tuesday but with £2bil in the bank, with a reduced fleet.... easyjet and Ryan air and wizz can ride it out. Iag are in strugglesville for the short term.

It is quite sensible to release with results. If negatives found then positive results will underpin. If no serious breaches found and positive results, will put you back to 400 plus. It also appears to be a hefty investigation so 8/9 weeks is pretty good going really.

It does say indicative timetable which conveys as subject to change. It is my opinion that the public of terms of reference for investigation (the start of the process) will be issued by the end of the week. It’s an opinion that we will get the above rns by the end of the week. It will need some strong initial commentary to help the market imo. Then an update before results in sept is genius, good or bad.

It is in the public domain that the terms of the QC investigation will be disclosed by the end of July. July ends this week and it will have to be a regulatory update to the market. So yes I do say it with conviction. Go and do some research!!

Yes there appears to be some form of correction over there with trump in self destruct mode and covid kicking on. The ftse has held up relatively well, rallying in line with European stimulus. It would be nice to see boohoo vilify the press coverage today with rns, outlining the qc investigation. This was before month end anyway so we may get something tomorrow to steady the ship, increasing investor confidence. Lets see
