I have just had confirmation from the company that we are in a closed period and the directors cannot buy. This is in the run up to H1 results 26th Nov. So they are not buying. My personal view is that the hold off on lending is a shrude move, sorting the complaints process and getting the FCA and FOS to provide an input to the application process will limit future claims. At this point I would like institutions to consider buying. They have adequate cash of circa £140m, not lending in the highest risk of markets and dealing with their issues. Amigo is not going down the pan and are coming out fighting.

No it would imply that they have the systems in place to commence lending quickly, they are not governed by the fca with regards to lending again.... your statement is like saying “so your saying they can start lending and everyone in the world is happy with climate change”. Seamus just read a call transcript from July and the fca has no baring on recommencement on lending. It was an in house decision and In my opinion it was the right one!

It was hammered today.... there are positives. But we do need to get a real feel for where the company sits on actual number of complaints. Rather than just during the vreq. Hopefully when the pressure from the vreq is off the back bone of amgo starts to build!

yuri, you did not see the vreq about dividends and company money then. What has actually happened is the CEO has put money in and is within 8 weeks of the role. Also I would imagine that there has been a closed period with the feedback of complaints vreq associated. So with that in mind don't shoot the bolt too quickly. JB also said that lending too quickly would be bad and that you have to give merit to the new board moving forward so if you are going to preach make sure you are preaching the full quotes.
