This is positive news. I used to work for Horizon (Hitachi) they were going to build 2 nuclear stations on the Isle of Anglesey. Now there is talk of some SMR being built in Trawsfynydd as there is a huge need for base line power which is reliable. Britain is in desperate need of renewables and nuclear is now classed as renewables. As in my previous post the costings regarding conventional nuclear and the SMR in comparison is key. Not a sexy investment but the ROI, over 30 years, is a good investment for pension funds etc.
If all goes well I can have silk sheets as well as pillow cases. GLA.
