No - The reason was I had voted in the corporate action - contacted Barclays and they then, under instruction, they removed my vote and then I can sell if I require.

Called Barclays - if you take an option on the voting then your shares will be ringfenced until May.

Hi. Looking at my Barclays investment account I have noted that I cannot sell only purchase Barclays shares. Can anyone give me guidance on this?

Some sizable chunks getting sold at the moment - several x 25k in shares and 30k. Hopefully this will dry up soon and SP should go back up.
