Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
it did unfortunately the lowest point was my trigger value. typical. not allowing me to buy jjb at the moment for some reason. any other ones you may suggest looking at ?
I can amend and cancel orders in my barclays account. I have to cancel an order if I want to sell manually at a specific time. I know what you mean about being able to override a sell order. I wanted to sell something quick and forgot about the order I have set up and went through putting in the various field then had to wait for it to then come back and tell me I can't sell them till I had cancelled the order. By the time I had gone and done this the price of the stock I had had dropped significantly. I learnt me lesson there.
Barclays. Sure there are better out there that are cheaper to trade with commission wise. I am using an self select ISA thing (so no tax issue, but limited to investing 7200, which probably protected me last year as I could have put in and lost more if I had not been limited), probably dealing in much smaller values than you do. As I say I only started last Apr and put in the max of 7200 so was gutted recently to see it dwindle to around 2000, currently around 4500. so hoping to keep that momentum. and claw back to original ammount invested. I am quite please as it is as I had pretty much written off that 5k never to be seen again. If I manage to get back anywhere near 7200 by this April I may put more cash investment into the account, no point putting it into a savings account with the interest rates as they are. Have set up that order now :o) fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Think I will set a trailing stop order of 27p ( that I think is a fair size) and between the 5 and 10. I looked back ad the spread was only that wide on the 31dec and before so hopefully will not be triggered and carry on climbing. Thanks again.
Think perhaps to do as you suggest and take some profit and put the stop loss on. Thinking of putting the profit into JJB (after looking on this site tonight), there is a lot of positivty on that thread tonight. As I am new to this I may be being naive and perhaps going with people talking it up, I don't know. Thankyou very much for your help it is much appreciated.
I got back in at 288. Sounds like an ok time but had lost out previously as I had been in when they were high (1010) then dropped. I was considering taking the gain and going into LLOY as it is at 119 atm. I only started doing this in April last year so a tad jittery having being hammered last year. Don't want to get greedy as I have stayed in too long before a got stung for it.
Not sure whether to get out now. Anyone think the recent upward trend with ENRC will continue ?
I got in at 2.88 and realize I should have bailed earlier in the week on the China news but before that was planning to stay until tomorrows results. So stayed in and they dropped. Ah well, hope for ok/good news tomorrow. The steel news today was not good for these. Any thoughts on what tomorrows results may be ?
Thanks for the info. Lets hope it is good news or should I has better than the market expects.
Are they definitely out next Wednesday ? is there a link to somewhere that shows the release of results as my Barclays market diary does not seem to show it.
Do you think it is too late to get into these ? currently hold RBS and was thinking of switching.
What has happened to these in the last week to drop so much. They seem to weather most storms ? anyone know ?
