June 26 (Reuters) - Aston Martin (AML.L), opens new tab announced the debut of its new limited edition sportscar Valiant on Wednesday and said deliveries would start in the fourth quarter, as the British carmaker aims to revive falling sales and become cash flow positive.

The company will produce only 38 units of the Valiant, a vehicle designed by the Aston Martin team alongside Formula One driver and two-time world champion Fernando Alonso.

The retail price of the Valiant is about 2 million pounds ($2.54 million), excluding tax in the UK, a source close to the company told Reuters.

All the units have been pre-sold, according to the company.

Fresh data published this morning shows the UK’s private sector growth has screeched to a seven month low, as uncertainty ahead of the election stalled decision making.

The latest S&P Global Flash UK PMI showed that output had dropped to the lowest level since November, to 51.7 in June, down from 53.0, in May.

The report said UK private sector business activity expanded in June at its slowest rate since last November, as slowing service sector growth was offset by improved manufacturing.

The Flash UK Manufacturing Output Index was at 54.2 in June, compared to 53.4 in May, a 26-month high.
