LONDON, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Activity in Britain's construction industry grew last month at its weakest pace since February due to shortages of building materials and contractors, adding to signs of post-COVID bottlenecks in the economy.

The UK Government announced the hike in hotel quarantine fees, up from £1,700 to £2,285 for a single traveller, to as much as £3,715 for a couple sharing a room, along with changes to the traffic light system.
