Nice to see this going up and holding there since past two days. Should be 110+ this week imo.
SP recovering now, should have been 5% up today on us vaccination news, will be soon hopefully.
It’s holding up well over 100 even when the wider market is down. Could end 110+ this week.
Goal of the vaccination program should be to prevent hospitalisations and deaths. To that there is no dispute that vaccines are effective against all variants. Once all vulnerable people are vaccinated (say about 25-30%) then there is no logic to having restrictions on. Covid will be there but can be managed. Furthermore, there is a strong chance of effective treatments being available by year end to get rid of the fear from Covid. Pfizer doing trails on new treatment and so are many others. Our knowledge of Covid virus is much more now than year before so treatments are likely to come sooner.
“Iag and Rr should and must be kicked out of Ftse 100”
Metom,
Which other FTSE 100 stock you think is good by comparison? Simply saying they are worst is no good.
People who subscribed in IAG and RR and those who bought at the lows last year have more that doubled and tripled their investments. You should get your facts right.
Should be a very good day today.

Hope to see this up tomorrow.
Because of so much fear and uncertainty on Govt plan yesterday I sold the stock at 187 but bough it back today at 192. This was the only trading I’ve done since holding the stock from around 91p incl the rights subscription. Hope no one else has been silly like me. Now I have to day trade some day to earn 5p and have peace of mind again :-)
204 is where it’s looking to end today. Summer holidays to Europe are very much on the cards and US holidays were never in doubt. Whatever little lost on Europe will be more than made up by increase in US holidays. DYOR and don’t forget to book your holidays before they are fully sold out.
Any guesses for tomorrow? Should be a green day following 3 days of big falls?
Wider market could be down as S&P 500, Nasdaq have slumped and this may trigger over to Asian markets later. Oil looking weak putting pressure on FTSE.

Does this explain anything?
Seems it’s politics being playing out at the moment. Bojo has to negotiate with EU on Vaccine supplies, Financial services, etc. Summer travel is a lever in his hand as EU greatly benefits from it. Why else would he impose fine on foreign travel if that was already unlawful and he could have just given the guidance out to airlines? Maybe he wants to send a message to EU. This needs to get over to get sanity back in the market.
