“What other stock picks would you guys recomend for post COVID recovery?”
Some low risk and 40-50% return in Banks like Lloyds, HSBC and Standard chartered in 6 months to a year.
Airlines like IAG and EasyJet about 50% in a year.
RR about 100% in a year.
Cineworld, Nex about 50% in a year.
All plain guesses and could be wrong in either direction.
AMC up 45% !
From the telegraph story on RR
“Mr East said the £9bn of liquidity Rolls has after raising £7.3bn of new debt and equity would be "ample to last us through to 2022 even if there is no improvement whatsoever this year or next"
Opulentia
“I went to RR in Derby last week to look at a job, the place is like a ghost town, no production being done in the casting Foundary, No work being processed . and very little work being don'te in the shafts area”
Company earned revenues in excess of 10B last year with the worst pandemic of the century and now on course to improve on that this year. Surely some work is being done somewhere.
Once this takes off this will be in 125-135 range in a few weeks or days. Year end could be 200+ if travel is fully open. I’ve seen so many shares stay stuck for a long time and suddenly take off. I’ve had 3 months of frustration with Lloyds in 30s but now it’s 50. Everyone thought that it won’t rise because people book profit with every 1p rise. But it did. RR will have its day soon. It may only takes 2-3 good days to move to 125 from here.
Patience will be rewarded.
