Who are medusa going to sell to in the UK when the test is for professional use only?

Tests are being given out for free in the UK. Why would UK businesses buy from medusa when they can get them for free?

At some point costs will have to passed on to businesses and consumers. Doesn't lessen the investment case for Avacta.

Well, possibly. But the UK gov can't afford to give tests out for free long term so businesses will be expected to foot the bill. Enter avacta and medusa19. Shortly!

Ultimately the responsibility lays with Avacta.
It took a twitter post for an unrelated lft submission to flush out the fact there were issues with the submission.

Said submission opens the door to millions of pounds worth of deals. Whatever has gone on it doesn't look good.

Stifel released a note after rns. Didn't see the mhra delay as any more than a frustration. Expect 20m lft sales this year and 70m lft sales next year.

Avacta have now said sign off should arrive shortly. hopefully arrive before mid next week.

But it sounds to me that was the first mologic and avacta heard about the rejection (with the resubmission being the 28th).

Oh I am terribly sorry to hear that racquet. I was just trying to air my view that posters constantly hang vitriol on innova. But from what I see innova are selling billions of pounds of tests.

It's high time avacta got the show on the road.

Jdt, not sure I agree. From what I am reading innova have allegedly done 3 billion sales with the UK gov.

Lots of blame being aimed at UK Gov for Avacta delays. Avacta have made it pretty clear they plan to sell the tests in Europe and ROW. And were in slow talks with UK GOV.

But the Avacta have repeatedly said the test with be available in certain time frames and hasn't happened.

Why not register the CE mark with a European authority and start selling?

Lateral flow tests. Shows there will be big demand for tests (trying to remain positive) !

With the 'coming days' phrase used by avacta I had expected it to have been done and dusted by now.

AS has been pretty clear that he intends to sell the tests into Europe.

All seems strange that there's a hold up getting CE approval from the UK Gov.

Unless of course there is no hold up with getting the CE mark and AD set an unrealistic expectation of 'coming days' !!!

Then you have to consider Avactas manufacturing partner is GAD who have been awarded a billion pound contract to manufacture for the government.
