RE: BP Debt to Capital Ratio 44.4%!11 Nov 2024 18:41
HI GFG,
Still holding strong here, I managed to buy a lot of what I sold around £28-29 back on the way down to £24. I have yet to sell any, as I was hoping the Chinese with their stimulus would have started to increase consumption. Trump, I am not sure of him, he will issue plenty of licences to drill.
TBH, oil is going down, Shell normally starts to go down from ex div to around March the following year.
I am just going for the dividends on this one 13-14k without doing a lot is a decent salary every quarter, tax free.
The world is in a very confusing state at the moments, whom is going to attack whom and when.
For trading, which I do frequently, PRU, TGA (Pays great divis), LGEN, they keep me busy enough.
I will need to sell a good chunk of Shell in my SIPP, and start to eat away at my pension due to Rachel Thieves making it a candidate for Inheritance Tax. Last year, I bought a 20 acre farm, she has stuffed me there as well. I will be 65 next month.
