The halite also mentioned indicates that the oil is sealed which is super encouraging. All in all, as news filters through the value here will grow and grow. Hugely exciting week ahead and yes it may be better valued north of £25m, perhaps even up to £50m but that’s a good starting target I think, around 5p

I think there are going to be 11 gas targets and Cane Creek on top, given what the geologist is commenting on. Could we be looking at a potential doubling of the resource potential to closer to $100m PV-10? Would make a mockery of our market cap.

Zephyr has previously highlighted its economic forecast for the Paradox project, most recently in its presentation of November 2020 which is available on the Company's website.

Updated for current commodity prices and reduced drilling costs as demonstrated by the State 16-2 well, the Company's Paradox acreage is estimated to hold the following:

-- Net 2C contingent recoverable resources of over 12 million barrels of oil equivalent ("mmboe") from 30 wells; and

-- Net present value of approximately US$93 million (pre-Federal Income Tax), using a flat oil price of US$50 per barrel and a ten percent discount rate ("NPV -10").

Both estimates are solely for the Cane Creek reservoir and do not include the significant upside potential from additional overlying reservoirs. The estimates were calculated in accordance with the Company's Competent Persons Report ("CPR") prepared by Gaffney Cline & Associates ("Gaffney Cline") in June 2018, and will be revised further once all data from the State 16-2 well has been processed.

A potential side track lateral on the State 16-2 well (the "State 16-2LN-CC") is individually forecast to have strong economics as a standalone investment. Utilising production profiles generated from Gaffney Cline's CPR, and updated with a $50 per barrel oil price and reduced capital expenditure estimates, the Board estimates the lateral side track could generate the following on a 2C basis:

Initial gross oil production rate: 780 barrels of oil per day

Estimated Ultimate Recovery: 550,000 barrels of oil and 1.8 billion cubic feet of gas
Return on Invested Capital: 169%
Single well net NPV-10: $4.6 million

The team preferred to drill the northern site due to the area’s productive
potential and the lack of historic geologic data, but it was willing to settle for
a cheaper option that would still provide good data. After the team realized
that its budget would not support a northern-site drilling, Zephyr stepped in to
create a partnership. The partnership creates a win-win situation:
• The team gets to drill in the area that will be most beneficial to understanding this play.
• Zephyr gets geologic data and access to a vertical well on their lease
and their 3D survey.
The site has approximately 30 alternating cycles of rock and salt in the Paradox
Formation. Each cycle is numbered. The current study will involve drilling a
vertical stratigraphic test well targeting the Cane Creek and C18/19 reservoirs
while gathering data throughout the effort.
The research group and Zephyr chose the site for several reasons, including
the fact that its location is mutually beneficial:
• Zephyr’s experts saw the potential for a natural fracture development
that may be more economical than existing unconventional resource
plays within the U.S. However, the current plan is to target a spot
that does not have fractures in order to reduce drilling risks for the
research well.
• This partnership allows Zephyr to gain an increased geologic understanding of the area
• The site is within the 20,000-acre lease holding with a 75% working
interest held by Zephyr.
• The quality of the underlying 3D seismic data across most of Zephyr’s
position is excellent because it reduces drilling risks.
• An existing well pad on SITLA land offered a favorable surface location,
minimizing additional surface disturbance.
The money that has been allocated will fund the well, which Zephyr intends
to spud by the end of December 2020. Data from the well will be useful during
funding discussions about the Paradox acreage, and spudding the well will be
a milestone during the process of continuing farm-in discussions.

Zephyr Energy has already spent more than $15 million in research and
development of the Cane Creek play, including collecting 3D seismic data in
the northern part of the play. Zephyr is a Rocky Mountain oil and gas company
that works to develop energy responsibly.
Work still needs to be done to characterize the region’s geology, stress regime,
fracture networks and optimal well-completion practices.
Participants will combine innovative borehole image logs with new core data
to create discrete fracture network and geomechanical models. The models
will help experts predict the occurrence of natural fractures and faults and
forecast the efficacy of novel stimulation approaches. All the data will be
integrated into coupled numerical models and machine learning algorithms.
The team will generate a regional-scale development strategy plan that uses
the resulting optimized version, and the plan will be field validated.
Before having an industry partner, the project team (EGI and UGS) selected
three potential sites in the play for drilling the research well to match different
budget scenarios.
• The southern site was the shallowest and least expensive to drill.
• The northern site was the deepest and most expensive.
• The central site was in between (with respect to depth and cost)

"The securing of the continuous core is also significant. Our State 16-2 drilling operation successfully acquired the first substantive rock samples from the Cane Creek reservoir in this northern part of the Paradox play. In addition, our sidewall coring collected the first rock capable of measurement from seven additional overlying reservoirs. We also gained high quality log data across the majority of the Paradox Formation. The analysis and interpretation of this data has now commenced and will serve to substantially improve our understanding of the geology, the potential upside - and, when integrated with our existing 3D seismic, how best to target and test the natural fractures that exist in the play.



"It's important to bear in mind the relatively untested potential of the Paradox Basin. The Cane Creek reservoir has produced over 10 million barrels of oil to date. However, the US Geologic Survey estimates a basin-wide, mean potential 1.2 billion barrels of oil equivalent in the Cane Creek reservoir alone*, indicating a substantial potential yet to be targeted. Further prospectivity also exists in other overlying reservoirs from which we secured data, and these additional reservoirs also appear to hold the presence of hydrocarbons. The data acquired from the State 16-2, when integrated using modern tools and the resources of our world class academic and industry partners, is a massive step forward in our pursuit to unlock the value which we believe is inherent in our Paradox project and across this Basin.

Iamgold had completed 1 300 m of the programme at the northernmost Faré prospect before the rains started and would resume the programme later this month.

Iamgold intends to report initial results from the programme in the first quarter next year.

Oriole states that, ahead of the new results next year, the company had recalculated all historic reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling results for the Faré prospect from Stratex International’s programmes in 2013 and 2014 and found the best results to include 20 m grading 31.13 g/t gold, including 10 m grading 60.08 g/t gold from RC drilling, and 59.5 m grading 2.2 g/t gold from diamond drilling.

Based on these results alone, Oriole believes the Faré prospect has already shown potential for the development of a significant gold resource.

“As we have seen from recent drilling on other licences in the immediate surrounds of Senala, long intercepts with grades well above 2 g/t gold can quickly build the types of volumes required for standalone mineable resources,” says Oriole CEO Tim Livesey.
