Never commented or registered with this site before but been trading since the late 90s. Sharegem247 is correct with his statement. The brewing arm values marstons at approx 88p then you have the rest of the business, which even when debt is taken away there is still value there, how much? Who know? Within the 88p initial valuation, granted there's the cash part and yes they said they will use this to pay off some debt. But the key point they didn't have this extra cash of £273 million before this deal and before this deal the shares were only 32p. So are we saying that before the deal all of the 32p was just for the brewing arm, obviously not. So where will this be on Tuesday, above 66p for sure, how much above nobody knows. I obviously agree with you that we should keep our feet on the ground and not get too carried away but these shares are significantly undervalued. Great reading other people's comments though, thanks everyone.
